Tenerife - Our team will greet you at the designated rendezvous point, situated in Puerto Coln, adjacent to the Victoria cafeteria. They will escort you to the vessel, setting the stage for an extraordinary whale watching journey. We conduct this activity with respect and awe, ensuring a memorable experience.
We are equipped with a hydrophone on the vessel, enabling us to eavesdrop on the conversations of whales and dolphins encountered en route. Our return voyage typically skirts the Los Cristianos region, notable for its aquaculture enclosures teeming with a diverse array of birds, turtles, and bottlenose dolphins, making it a prime spot for snorkeling. As we make our way back to the harbor, we are often treated to the sight of surfers skillfully riding the waves. Aboard Macaronesia, our swift boat allows us to explore a vast expanse in a shorter timeframe, offering our guests comfortable seating and a canopy for protection against the intense Tenerife sun.

Join us for an ecological journey along the Tenerife coastline, led by a knowledgeable whale-watching guide who will keep you informed about the lives and preservation of these incredible sea creatures at all times.
We keep our groups small, at a maximum of 8-10 people, to intensify your experience. We give you the opportunity to learn about these underwater residents, their lifestyle and interactions, their dietary habits, and we even allow you to listen to their communication thanks to a hydrophone we have on board. This is the reason why we conduct our sea trips thoughtfully, prioritizing the marine ecosystem’s integrity, and our team actively participates in picking up marine debris.
The tour takes about 3 hours, leaving ample time for a swim and snorkelling, if you so desire.
Our eco-adventure is a day-to-day show that won’t let you down and will make a lasting imprint on your mind.

go and enjoy it - Although I could not go to the trip, I can only recommend this company. 2 days before the booked adventure they sent me a message letting me know that due to the foreseen very windy conditions they would not go out to ocean on the day. They offered me the next available day when it was safe to go. Unfortunately I could not accept that, as I already had another booked and paid programme . The company then refunded the money with no problem. Communication was smooth, they seem to be a reliable company; putting safety before profit. Next time I am in Tenerife I will book the adventure again without hesitation!

The perfect guide - definitely recommend!!! - This wouldn’t have been as enjoyable without Chema, our really chilled, very knowledgeable guide. Just the perfect amount of information and clearly has a lot of love and knowledge of the sea and all that lives within it. We saw a large turtle and Pilot Whales with young Babies it was great listening to them on the hydrophone. We booked & paid via Tripadvisor which made everything really simple and the place was easy to find. There were 7 of us plus Chema, and the boat has shade plus you’re really close to the water so could see really well when whales swam beneath the boat. Will definitely book again when we return to Tenerife!

Highly recommended personal boat ride - Started off with an informative talk by the operator in his office with displays.
Ended up on a personal family boat ride. Operator was very knowledgable and professional. Boat ride out v fast and choppy but slowed once near pilot whales. Saw several different groups and heard nosies via hydrophone. Finished off the enjoyable 3 hours with the kids snorkelling in a bay.
All very relaxed and enjoyable.

Amazing experience! so many pilot whales - My wife and I booked wanted to see dolphins and whales, but we wanted to do it right, with minimal inconveniences for the animals.
We ended up booking with eco whale watching Tenerife.
Chema is nice guy and a great guide. Really passionnate about whales and nature in general. The tour was amazing, so nice to see thoses animals out in the sea. And listening to them through the hydrophone was juste magical.

Surrounded by whales - Great tour, our guide (Chema) was very nice, prepared and engaging. We saw a lot of whales and even a green tourtle, and we had a lovely boat trip along the coast. Unfortunately it wasn’t the perfect day to do snorkeling (from mid in it was cloudy and windy), but we didn’t care so much. Thank you Chema!!

Fantastic experience - An amazing experience spotting pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins followed by snorkelling (in wetsuits provided too!). We were a small group of 6 which ensured we all had a great view of the whales and dolphins.
Very knowledgeable guide who was incredibly respectful of the creatures. Overall a fantastic experience would 100% recommend

Absolutely amazing day out whale watching - Highly recommend this trip with Chema. We saw local whales with their calf, they swam under our boat, we heard them communicating with each other! We saw dolphins swimming in front of boats. We saw turtles basking in the sun then taking a dive, flying fish and many see birds. Chema was passionate and informative about the eco system, the area and wild life in it. We kept a respectful distance and we picked out plastic along the way. We went swimming and snorkelling in the clear blue see around the cliffs . Thanks Chema we had a fantastic day.
