Knowledgable and engaging captain - Today we went out with Patrick and it was such a great experience, our first boat trip with our little ones and Patrick was so engaging and great with them. Very knowledgable and made us feel safe and in good hands. 5 stars and would happily recommend and hopefully if we return would definitely use Galatea again! Lovely clean comfortable boat too.

Amazing, personal tour experience - We went on the tour as family of 4 (2 adults, 2Y & 11Y), Patrick and his wife were very lovely to speak to and kept us fed and watered throughout our 3 hours! The boat takes a max of 7 so this was a really personal tour and only had 2 other people on the boat with us - for the price I felt this was great. We seen a family of Pilot Whales and were even lucky enough to see some dolphins! Due to the small size of the boat we were able to get really close to see them - it was amazing. We then went to a small bay where we were able to jump off the boat for a swim, as the children didn’t want to jump in they stayed on the boat with Patrick and fed all the fish, which the loved and were then provided with a picnic lunch and drinks (with lots of variety!) On the return our 11 year old was able to drive the boat and both children were given sailing certificates - lovely touch and something for them to both remember their trip by! - thank you Patrick, we will definitely recommend and hopefully come again in the future!

Beautiful whale watching trip - A three-hour sailing trip to look for whales, only the four of us and the captain were on the boat. The whales appeared to us as soon as we arrived at their location. Unforgettable experience, friendly attitude of the captain, swimming, refreshments 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Really enjoyed the trip... - Really enjoyed the trip and our time with Patrick! He is a very funny guy and a great host with lot of knowledge of the Canary Islands and sea life. The boat was spacious and there was a lot of space for everybody on board. Unlimited drinks and snacks were also a great perk of our trip. Would reccomed to anybody!

Excellent trip - We use The Galatea sailing trip every time we come to Tenerife. You are out for approximately 3 hours . After leaving the harbour you head out to see the Pilot Whales . It is not guaranteed that you will see them but we are well into double figures of trips won this boat and have seen them every time. After this you head back into a small bay where you get sandwiches and snacks and an alcoholic drink . ( wine or lager) . You also get one on the way to the bay. You also get a chance to jump into the sea and have a swim . You then leave the bay and head back to the harbour. There are many options for trips but this to me is perfect . There are only about six people on the trip rather than a huge boat with lots of people ( and loads of noise) . Patrick is a fantastic host . My wife is currently back out in Tenerife and went out with Patrick again on Wednesday. I can’t recommend this highly enough and it’s a must do while visiting .

Brilliant day out with Patrick - Had an absolutely great time. Captain Patrick was a fantastic host and we had such fun with him. He kept the drinks flowing and served up some lovely sandwiches. Saw the beautiful pilot whales and swam with fish. The craic was mighty highly recommended.

Great time if you want to relax on a boat - We really enjoyed the trip and thought the Captain was great. The only thing that would’ve been nice to know is that there really wasn’t snorkel equipment and we weren’t going snorkeling at a reef so there was really nothing to see. Overall though highly recommend if you want a great boat day and want to see some whales.
