- Crane - A prominent symbol of Gdańsk, representing the remnants of the city’s illustrious trading era.
- Wyspa Spichrzow - Known as Granary Island, it was the heart of Gdańsk’s trade for centuries and a key contributor to the city’s historical prosperity. By 1643, the island housed 315 granaries, capable of storing up to 250,000 tons of grain and accommodating over 200 ships, establishing Gdańsk as the largest harbor on the Baltic and one of Europe’s wealthiest cities. Granary Island is being revitalized for public use through extensive construction projects.
- Wartka Bridge - This footbridge, opened in June 2017, links the main town near the Hilton hotel with Ołowianka.
- Wyspa Olowianka - Ołowianka Island derives its name from the Polish word ‘Ołów’ (meaning Lead), as lead metals transported from Silesia were stored here during the Teutonic era. In later centuries, these warehouses served as granaries, examples of which can be seen next to The Philharmonic Hall and The Royal Granary.
- SS Soldek - The first steamship constructed in Polish Gdańsk after 1945, now transformed into a living museum.
- Brama Mariacka - A mysterious gothic gate leading to the most picturesque street in Gdańsk.
- Green Gate (Brama Zielona) - This splendid four-arched gatehouse on the waterfront was intended as a palace for Polish monarchs. Although no Polish king ever resided here, Lech Wałęsa had his office in this building before relocating to the European Solidarity Centre.
- Brama Krowia - Known as Cow Gate, it is located at the Motława end of ul. Ogarna. The name likely originates from the road used for driving cattle.
- Motlawa Channel Fortifications - Gdańsk was encircled by a bastion fort, and a stone lock was constructed in Motława, which could be used to flood the city’s surroundings. We will explore what remains.

If you want fame, go for it - SUP is fun, it does not require any special condition or skills, but requires a good balance. An interesting option for other sightseeing in Gdańsk. So far, paddling on the Motława river arouses a lot of interest and attracts a lot of eyes 😉

Best way to explore the city. - Best way to explore the city. Gdansk is extremely beautifull from the water perspective. Water gates, ships, bridges, cranes are so close. Paddleboarding in such circumstances is really cool. The activity itself is easy and relaxing. I highly recomand!
