- Camino Pájara - Look forward to a hike in the western part of Fuerteventura and discover the Las Peñitas gorge near Ajuy and the chapel of the saints. Hike up the gorge to the place where the patron saint of Fuerteventura once appeared, the Virgen de la Peña. The figure of Saint Mary can still be found in a small chapel today. Enjoy a fantastic view over the entire valley, far from the beaten tourist track. With a little luck you might see wild goats and birds of prey.
Head to the fishing village of Ajuy, 5 kilometers away, for the second part of your hike. Discover this magnificent stretch of coast, which is not only a natural monument, but also the oldest part of the island. Hike along the rugged coastline to a secluded black beach with a giant rock gate. Listen to the legend of this seemingly mystical place in the middle of untouched nature.
Return to the village of Ajuy for a typical coffee. Let the day end in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere before going back to the hotel.

We registered for the toue because of an excellent previous experience - We signed up for the Romantic Wild Beaches tour because of a previous excellent experience with guide Kristina. Walk along beautiful pristine beaches with tapas and beautiful sunset. Thank you Kristina!

Best tour yet! - Best guided tour yet! Mischa, the guide was amazing. She is fluent in 4 languages and not only provided an excellent tour but was also able to answer any and all questions related to the island and its history and inhabitants. A very professional person and a great day out, would 100% recommend to anyone.

Successful day in the gorge and the west coast - We booked a tour with Kristina for the third time and were very satisfied again.
The hotel pick-up works without any problems, so you can easily participate in the excursions even without a rental car. (pick-up only in the south incl.)
The tour is divided into two parts. In the first part we go to the chapel. The way is definitely feasible. If it is too steep / too heavy / too high for the individual, there is the possibility to stop and wait there on the way. Kristina goes for everyone.
In the second part we go to Ajuy. On the bus and the coffee break afterwards you can take a short breather.
Afterwards we go to the rock gate. There everyone could explore this for themselves.
Around 3pm we were back at the hotel. Start was about a quarter to 9h.

A perfect hiking day - It was the perfect day! Kristina is a great guide! Book this trip, you won't regret it. You get to know so much about country and people on this day😊. We booked another tour with Kristina, the Tapas Tour. It was also indescribably beautiful 🥰.

The origins of Fuerteventura. Mindful tourism - The encounter with Fuerteventura, his life. To feel the earth and its people, Nature.
The activities carried out with Fuerte Authentic Tours, and I have done several, have been endearing, different, unique experiences. The concept that permeates Kristina’s proposals is special, there is an awareness towards Nature, its surroundings and its people that make you feel special and unique too; you perceive them as designed exclusively for you, small groups, places where nature is frequented and whispers the story of ancient inhabitants. Everything is thought with affection to this arid and strong land that is Fuerteventura and its inhabitants. This time we enter the oldest part of Fuerteventura, and Fuerteventura is the oldest of the Fortunates, and we tread paths and paths among rocks, oases, arches that nature has forged and that its inhabitants have used in their long history. Wonderful tour - Super nice, interesting tour in small group. It was really worth it. Thanks to Kristina from Fuerte Authentic Tours for the great trip. Next time I like to do the tapas tour or hiking with goats tour with you 🙂

The name " Fuerte Authentic Tours" says it all. - The tour professionally led by Ingrid has brought us exactly what we expected from a private hike conducted in a small circle.
Interesting stories, great landscapes and at the end a really good food which put the crown on the day. It was already our second tour that we did with Authentic Tours. In November we are back on the island,
then we will do the next tour with Authentic Tours.

Enjoyable way to see the Island - Enjoyed this hiking trip in small group of 4 being still in low season, Mischa our guide was fantastic, friendly and let us go in our own pace as I can struggle with vertigo, the hike would be managable by most capabilities. Superb way to see the island if you enjoy walking.

A really interesting island - The island is very interesting and offers a wide range of actities, wild nature, lovely beaches, markets, shopping, golf, a possibility to climb a volcano, vast area with dunes, cheap public transportation, lovely walks etc. A week is hardly enough, so we have to come back. Only drawback is the strong wind, the calima is a real nuisance

Palm Grove of Costa Calma - The palm grove is beautiful unfortunately it is littered with garbage, and the trees are not maintained. The municipality should better highlight this beautiful place.
