Mind-Blown in Peru - Best Travel Experience Ever! - I'm still blown away by Peru VIP and honestly can't stop telling everyone about them! We've traveled pretty much everywhere you can think of, but this trip? Easily one of our best ever. From the moment we stepped off the plane until our final goodbye at the airport, these folks had our backs the entire time. And don't even get me started on the guides - they weren't just smart, they had this amazing way of getting us totally pumped about Peru's history and culture. Every site we visited came alive through their stories and explanations. Trust me, keeping nine people happy and organized on a trip isn't easy (anyone who's traveled with a big group knows what I'm talking about!), but they absolutely crushed it. The scheduling was perfect, the transportation was always on time, and they handled all the little details that could've been headaches. Peru VIP Travel organized a top-notch trip for us - We learned of Peru VIP from travelers we met on an Antartica trip last year. Based on their recommendation, we contacted Vilma, one of the owners of Peru VIP. We conversed back and forth about our desired South America itinerary. Vilma put together a personalized itinerary for the four of us. Her quote included hotels, domestic flights, transfers, guided tours, entry fees, and train & bus tickets. We began our trip in Quito and Vilma's plans were executed without a hitch. Throughout the trip, she kept in touch with us via WhatsApp; always letting us know who would be greeting us at our next location. We visited Lima, the Amazon near Puerto Maldanado, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco. The guides she contracted for us were excellent and spoke great English. The hotels she selected were fantastic. The private vans she arranged for the four of us were first rate but even they got bounced around by the Peru roads! But that's part of the adventure. Overall, Peru VIP met our every expectation. I will admit to initially feeling a bit anxious about hiring a firm I had little knowledge of. Peru VIP is Cusco-based and I am used to dealing with American companies. But my leap of faith was rewarded with a wonderful trip. My personal highlight was climbing Waynapicchu Mountain.
