Fun and tasty cooking class - It was a wonderful wonderful tasty experience! Chef Peark Lom Ang was a great teacher. She took us to the wet market to buy all of the fresh ingredients to make the meal. It was refreshing to see the actual market. Then it was back to the Banana Cooking School to wash, peel and cook what we bought at the market. The kitchen in the school was beautiful, we cooked with relax music in the background with the chef and her staffs. The instructions were really easy to follow and we ended up with a three course meal with fresh spring roll, chicken curry and banana dessert. My finished curry dish was the best I have ever eaten ( and I eat a lot of Asian food)! It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend this fun activity. You won’t regret it!

Well recommended and worthwhile cooking experience - My partner and I did this cooking class with Chef Lom Ang and can highly recommend. We started with a market visit to get our ingredients and loved seeing around the stall holders and we were able to ask Lom Ang questions about anything we didn’t know much about as we walked around. The cooking class itself was well structured and very useful to learn techniques and understand what consistency was needed before moving to the next step etc Hands on cooking like this is the best way of learning new skills !

Excellent cooking experience for beginners and experienced cooks! - My wife and I had such an amazing time in our Khmer cooking class with Chef LomAng! She took us to the local market and explained all of the different ingredients we would need for our dishes as we bought them from local vendors. She then very patiently and kindly showed us how to prepare the ingredients and cook the food. We made spring rolls, fish amok, and banana palm for dessert. Everything was so tasty and vibrant and smelled so good. Thanks a million to chef LomAng and her team for giving us such a wonderful experience in Phnom Penh!

100% recommend - Absolutely book this experience! Chef LomAng was an amazing teacher and the food was truly delicious. She showed us around the market and helped us pick out ingredients, and a full recipe for each dish was provided for us to take home with us as well. We made spring rolls, fish amok, and banana palm. We can’t wait to make these dishes for our friends and family when we get back to the US :) Thanks so much, Chef LomAng!!

Now I know how to make a curry! - I have always loved eating Thai food but had never had Khmer food until this trip. I liked that it's not as spicy as Thai. I have eaten Thai curries before but was always intimidated in trying to make the sauce from scratch. We made spring rolls, a yellow chicken curry, and a delicious banana and pineapple dessert. The chef was great as well as her assistants. Class was well organized and the meal we prepared was wonderful. Can't wait to try this at home.

An interesting afternoon - We made our way to a very nice hotel greeted with cool towels and drinks. Lom Ang our chef took us to the market and showed us different produce, whilst buying the ingredients for our meal. We returned to the hotel and a cool room where Lom showed us how to prepare a 3 course meal. Lom was very patient and informative and the meal was lovely. I would recommend this experience

Best Khmer cooking class..!! - Had an amazing experience at Banana cooking class. First we had an introduction, then we went to buy fresh ingredients from a local market with the chef, prepared a starter, main course and dessert and ate them at the restaurant. This was our second time and won't be the last.
