- Banana Cooking Class - * Full Day Course\n\n09:00am: Guest will meet at Banana Cooking Class and proceeding by Tuk Tuk to the local market where guest will be told and shown of Cambodian fruits, vegetables, and spices.\n10:00am: Time to take a tuk-tuk ride back to Banana Cooking Class.\n10:15am: After arrival, guest will get a refreshing drink and cold towel and recipe.\n10:30am: Theory Class. Here our chef will present a cookery demonstration of the dishes that you are going to prepare\n11:00am: Time to put your hands on the cooking utensils. Each student has his/her own cooking station and wok. Assisted by our chef, you will learn and experience the culinary technique of\nCambodian cuisine.\n12:00pm: Lunch. Now you can taste and enjoy your own culinary creation.\n03:30pm: Time to put your hands on the cooking utensils again. In the afternoon we teach you how to make dishes that take some more time to prepare.\n04:30pm: Time to taste and enjoy your own culinary creation and relax.\n05:00pm: Certificate given and photo cession. Guests who hunger to learn about Khmer cuisine can enroll in our half or full-day cooking class. Start the morning by exploring a local market where you will experience the hustle and bustle and absorb the flavor of a typical Cambodian market. You will have time to walk around, take pictures and observe vendors selling their wares. You will learn about local fruits, vegetables, and herbs and procure the freshest ingredients you need for the day’s lesson.
Returning to our kitchen, our experienced chef will guide you through tried-and-true Khmer cooking techniques. Unlock ancient secrets of Khmer cooking through this authentic culinary experience. After the demonstration and with our chef’s assistance, you will discover new tastes and textures as you learn to prepare traditional dishes, which will be enjoyed for lunch. The recipes are yours to keep so you can recreate the Cambodian culinary experience in the comfort of your own home and impress your friends and family.

Excellent cooking class - Wonderful cooking class. Went to the market first, then very thorough and hands on instruction. We asked for some changes in the menu and they were flexible, quickly coming up with delicious alternatives. Chef Lon ang was friendly, knowledgeable and clear. Helpful with good English. Everything we made was classic Khmer and so so good.

Refund given - I would have loved to have gone on this cooking experience but I was unwell and they kindly gave me a refund. I will definitely rebook when I am next in town

Great day cooking Khmer food - It was a perfect and funny day. The teacher, called LomAng Peark, was very friendly and we had a very good time in the market buying the things and afterwards cooking such delicious dishes. I had a very good time and recommend this activity to every tourist in Nom Pehn. The activity takes place in the beautiful La Rose Suites. Thank you!!

Khmer cooking class - It was a pleasure to be at the banana cooking class! My chef LomAng Peark was totally nice and had to every question I asked an answer! We cooked five dishes and she explained everything perfect! Before cooking, we went together to the market and bought all ingredients for the meal! Thanks, I would do it again!

Amazing food; great at modifying to dietary restrictions - I did the full day course and because of COVID-19 had a private lesson the entire day.
This class was wonderful! LomAng Peark (my chef) was talented, kind and gave lots of information about Khmer food and culture. The other staff was so attentive and even chatted with me as I ate the meals. The dishes we made were authentic Khmer food and I can honestly say my favorite Khmer food I had during my time in Cambodia was during this course! They were also really good about modifying to my dietary restrictions, which was greatly appreciated!

Awesome cooking class! - Our family had a fantastic time at the full day cooking class. Our chef was great with our kids (ages 7, 10, and 12). She was very engaging while explaining the dishes we were going to cook and also very flexible when one of the kids needed a break or was picky about an ingredient. The market trip was fantastic too and a really great way for us to understand Khmer cuisine and culture. Most important, the food was delicious and we can’t wait to try to make it at home! Highly recommend!

The whole experience was amazing and the food so tasty - I am Cambodian living in Germany and I love cooking. I asked Banana Cooking class to cook other typical Khmer dishes that were not on their menu and are a bit more complicated to prepare.
It was beyond my expectations: the whole experience was amazing, the chef is passionate and very talented, the staff members were friendly and very accommodating (the full-day was organised only for me, I invited 2 friends last minute and they were so flexible) and the food was so tasty and full of flavour!
We left with more food than we anticipated.
Thank you Banana Cooking for allowing me to cook the dishes that tasted almost exactly the same as my mom's cooking, this took me back to my childhood.
Look forward to taking what I learned and doing it at home.
