Amazing experience and delicious food! - This cooking class is amazing. We started the day going to the local market to pick up ingredients, then went back to prepare 3 dishes. Our teacher Lom Ang was amazing and very helpful. The whole team was super friendly as well. Lom Ang explained the processes well and was very easy to understand. The food was delicious and they also provided the recipes for us to use at home! An amazing experience and I would highly recommend Banana Cooking Class to everyone!

Great cooking experience - even for people who can't cook! - Great experience! Chef Lom Ang was amazing and friendly. You'll get to shop for ingredients at the wet market together, cook a 3 course meal - I had spring rolls, yellow curry, and banana palm dessert - with the chef guiding you every part of the way and answering your questions

Great class, gluten free options - I had a great time and learned a lot from Chef Lath Sokea. She made the class fun and was very accommodating of dietary restrictions (gluten free in my case). The food was delicious, I’d highly recommend this class!

Great experience - Fantastic experience to learn from a great chef. The market visit followed by the cooking process back at the class space made for a good day. To eat what you have prepared under expert guidance was most enjoyable. We highly recommend this as something to do in Phnom Penh.

Simply delicious! - Interactive cooking class with the most delicious results! Started with a trip to the market to buy the produce, then back to the restaurant to prepare, then eat the dishes. The yellow curry was 👌 - SO delicious. We'll definitely cook the palm bananas also! We will be able to as we have all the recipes to take home! They stayed calm even when I accidentally set fire to my heatproof glove. Oops! Chef Lom Ang and team were so helpful with a last minute rescheduling of our session -required because another tour operator stuffed up our bookings. We were immensely appreciative of that also.

Fabulous instructor and delicious food at The Banana Cooking School - Great fun and learnt how to cook my favourite Fish Amok, plus rice paper rolls and banana caramel. Chef Lom Ang from the Banana Cooking School is an excellent teacher. We shopped in the local market, which is always very colourful and full of interesting smells ( some not so good). Then back at Le Rose to cook. I was lucky enough to have the morning session all to myself. Thanks Lom Ang and your team at the Banana Cooking School.

Curry in a Hurry - Cook Khmer Curry. Fun times! - One of the better cooking class experiences I've had. And I've been to plenty in South East Asia. The menu for the day is pre-set and not very exciting (very easy menu). However, the very hands-on approach makes your involvement very active from start to finish. The instructor was very engaged with her students. I would have liked some knowledge of the cuisine though and not just outright prep and cook. Nonetheless I'd recommend it. Khmer cuisine isn't as complex or complicated like Indian cuisine despite having some Indian influence. And that's great news if you want to make a curry in a hurry.
