Great activity - Amazing experience, highly recommend. Saw a hump back whale and lots of dolphins. Pilot was excellent. Much smoother than I was expecting too.

Fantastic experience. Pilot excellent and very knowledgeable about the area and animals we saw. Saw a sperm whale (diving and on - Alongside the good long look at the Sperm whale we saw seals, a very large pod of dusky dolphins, shoals of fish and magnificent scenery. Gentle take off and landing. Thoroughly recommend.

Whales by Air a great choice - Having been dissapointed by the the boat trip being called off we booked at the last minute to see the whales by air. Great decision. Pilot was very keen to get us too see whales and he spent a long time searching. In the end we saw a humpback and a killer whale plus found time to take us on a tour of kaikoura. Loads of dolphins and the weather was primo

Plane best choice! - Such a fantastic experience. So glad we chose the plane over the boat, even just going up in the aircraft is worth the money if you haven't done before. We didn't see whales the first trip so they kindly let us go up again the next day for a small fee and we saw a sperm whale and humpback. Great all round experience, the staff and pilot were all brilliant. Thanks a lot guys! Jim and Elliott

Breathtaking! - Highly recommended. The pilot did a great job, we felt very comfortable and safe! We saw orcas and a sperm whale. You get a feeling for how big these animals really are. I'd be happy to do it again any time!

An Amazing pilot - Really enjoyed our whole travel during the flight.Pilot trun the flight like 80 degrees to show us the whale 🐳 that was unexpected and unbelievable we got the best view. Very skilled pilot have to say. Couldn't be more happier and thankful for a lovely day. Would like to suggest everyone whoever want to do adventure like this, don't miss to book a flight for whale watching.You're gonna love this.

Amazing whale watching experience - We had an amazing experience. The staff knew exactly when and where to go to see the sperm whale in the area and once we saw it, we circled around multiple times to get good views on both sides. Awesome experience and professional and experienced staff and pilot.

Great - Fantastic flight. Saw several Sperm and Pilot whales and also dolphins. Even though we were at 500 ft we still had a better view than if on a boat. Magnificent way to view these wild creatures. Staff were excellent, plane a bit cramped for a big bloke like me (110kg). Big windows for excellent viewing.
