Expect to see a landscape dressed with snow-capped mountain tops, cascading waterfalls, and possibly wild deer if your eyes are keen.
Proceeding further, we will soar above Lake Hapuku, a notable consequence of the 2016 Kaikoura earthquake. Your skilled pilot will then glide lower near the Hapuku river mouth, sweeping along the black-sandy beach en route to the Kaikoura peninsula. Circling the peninsula reveals its unique charm, with local seals basking next to the vibrant turquoise ocean waves.
