Magnificent. - Mont St Michel is a unique, beautiful place I have always wanted to visit. James and Ifi shared knowledge about the history of the area, restaurant recommendations and made entry to the busy tourist attraction easy. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Thank You Saheed and Daniel!! - First, I would love to say that this was a beyond amazing tour with Saheed and Daniel! They did a fantastic job. I looked at a few of the recent reviews and wanted to clarify some of the minimal star reviews, because I truly don't think they are warranted, especially since people noted that they were frustrated with Viator and not actually City Wonders, which is what you are actually reviewing. What I learned in many of the tours I completed in Paris in March 2024 is that Paris is gearing up for the Olympic Games this coming summer and as such, and the Paris as a whole (including the various sights) are going through refurbishment, renovation, adjustment of hours, and sometimes even just closures. This particular tour was set to meet somewhere else; however, due to preparations for the Olympic Games, the departure location/meeting point was changed - which is not a problem. Obviously, I booked through Viator and experienced no issues with the booking process. City Wonders sent me an email through Viator and to my email (WELL IN ADVANCE) that the departure point changed. I would find it very hard to believe that City Wonders was selective when they sent the emails about the changes. As a matter of clarification, I received a total of two emails about this change. I just wanted to primarily note that because it seems like it might be a personal issue that was overlooked and not a problem that should be attributed to Viator or City Wonders. Interestingly, I nearly cancelled this tour because I was so annoyed and angered by the Normandy tour I completed with Saam and Effie just two days before, who were less than considerate guides. Ironically, several people in our Normandy tour also booked the Mont St. Michel tour and we agreed that if Saam and Effie were giving the tour on the same bus, we would not get on. I am SO HAPPY that I did not cancel because Daniel and Saheed were AMAZING. Very funny, courteous, laid back, and really cared that people had a wonderful experience. Daniel gave the tour on his birthday and Saheed walked through the bus during the last hour to make sure everyone had a great time and to offer tips and tricks for food and sights to see after learning everyone's personal interests. This was awesome. The ride to MSM is four hours there and four hours back. Daniel and Saheed told a few stories in about 20-30 minute intervals and then gave people time to relax, talk, read, listen to music, etc, which was wonderful - and unlike what was done on the Normandy bus with Saam and Effie, who EACH talked for about two hours straight. One thing I wanted to note is that MSM is beautiful, but if you are not in a bit of shape or capable of walking up NUMEROUS stairs, this might not be the tour for you. We lost a few people due to the intense incline, but Saheed and Daniel waited at the top to hand out audio equipment, and it took some people longer than others - which is fine. Others opted not even to attempt it, because it is definitely a haul. Overall, this tour was amazing, and I think Saheed and Daniel are so awesome and made this truly an amazing experience.

Great tour - We enjoyed the tour, Mont St-Michel is spectacular. The tour was well organized, right on schedule and the guides were very knowledgeable. They kept everyone informed of the itinerary and schedules and shared a lot of good information about the visit.

Amazing - Daniel and Saheed our guides were amazing! This was an experience of a lifetime! The views were right out of a Disney movie!

Rocky start but all went well - The meeting point for our tour was changed at the last minute without adequate notification so we (and several others) showed up at the wrong place and missed our tour bus. I asked to be moved to the following day and this was done without any issues. Saheed was our guide. His English was very good, he was very knowledgeable and helpful

Lots of stairs and lots of travel, but worth it! - Beautiful place and carrying tour guides. I have asthma and found out too late my inhaler was empty. It’s a LOT of steep stairs to get to the Abbey and not easy on limited lung capacity but the tour guides checked on me regularly and were very encouraging. The day was crazy windy and wet but we had a great time. Be warned its a 4 hour drive here 1 way.

Viator provide wrong meeting location - trip left without us - Disaster booking through Viator. We booked Mont Saint Michel day trip thru Viator. Reservation process itself was fine but all communication from Viator about meet/pick up location was incorrect. On the day of the trip (03/27/24) we arrived early and soon realized bus didn’t show up. There were 4 other parties (14 people in total) who booked with Viator and we all were sent to a wrong location. Bus left without us. After calling City Wonders (actual trip provider) and pleading with them they turned the bus and picked us. Trip turned out being great but experience with Viator was really bad. I recommend you look for alternative booking sites.

Missed tour,Viators fault, no refund yet - I missed the tour because change of meeting point was not communicated. I along with 8-10 people missed the tour because of viators fault. Never recommend to anyone. No further communication on refund.
