Useful guide to the labrinth - In terms of a tour package, skip the line entry and tickets.... pricey. But that's what we get in booking late and can't get tickets. In this case, we were glad it was available. Emily did a great job of filling out the package with information and guidance to a vast and expansive space. Her indepth knowledge of the Louvre helped guide us to where to start and navigate this labrinth. She made an overwhelming place into an enjoyable experience. Just note that "skip the line" also has a line, however it moves reasonably quickly.

The meet was outside 162... - The meet was outside 162 rue de rivoli. I got there early and there was no sign of the tour guide so I panicked. I needn't have because the tour guide turned up with a sign later.

Worst ever - What a waste of money. Half the people in our group had tickets that were incorrect and didn’t work. All this is is getting you in with groups. She did nothing else.

Louvre always has tickets in-person. This is a SCAM...sort of. - Buying tickets here is a scam. You have a high probability of getting in, but don’t leave (or go to the food court), as you will not be allowed re-entry. Let me explain…It’s been 14 years since our last visit to Paris. In the past we bought tickets onsite the day we planned to visit. Maybe a slight wait, but we got in. Tickets at the Louvre would cost 22 euro. However, our experience at other high tourist sites, waits to buy tickets onsite are upwards of 2-3 hours. So, we decided to look for tickets or tours online and purchased tickets from this group. Most days on the Louvre’s official site during our visit said not available. This is because booking agents buy mass quantities of tickets for resale and eventually the Louvre’s site will say sold out, even though tickets are aways available in person. This is what will happen…A tour guide will meet you. They will walk you to the entry point closest to the Mona Lisa. They will not take you to the Mona Lisa. Yes, you will skip the ticket line. The guide will AirDrop screenshots of downloaded tickets. Sorry Android users, they can only Airdrop to Apple phones. What you will notice is that the tickets are not in your name. They all have someone else’s name (RED FLAG). Enter quickly because there are others using these same tickets. Once in, you are in. Do not leave. While you are exploring the art and artifacts, others are using these tickets. Once the tickets are used more than 2-3 times and at multiple entry points the tickets will be permanently blocked from any further use. If you leave to go to the food court and re-enter, you will be forced to buy a new ticket for 22 euro. The indoor ticket office doesn’t have a wait, but you will essentially pay more. The Louvre is trying to mitigate this issue and they are sorry that people are scammed, but the only wat to combat this is to block the tickets.

Buyer Beware. - For our tour, our tickets were not purchased in advance, so upon arriving at the meeting point, we suddenly learned the tour was canceled because the museum reached capacity and we did not have tickets to enter. The fact that our tickets were not purchased in advance should be prominently disclosed in the advertising to allow future travelers to be informed and not to be placed in the uncomfortable position of planning a day/trip around attending the museum while suddenly having to make alternate plans, which is naturally extremely difficult to do the day of.

Tour was terrible and disorganized - Worst tour ever. Couldn’t keep group together and we were directed by operator to the wrong line for which we didn’t have a ticket(audio devices) then a bunch of us on the tour waited a half hour after going into the exhibit but no tour person emerged to give the tour. We had to make our way with no tour and no audio.

HORRIBLE way to run a business!!! Should be ashamed - The tour company never pre purchased the tickets for entry. They gave us every reason why they didn’t get the tickets, meanwhile people paid weeks ago for their tickets. We never got into the museum and they are closed today (Tuesday) we leave tomorrow. Very disappointed, after they made us meet them they told us they couldn’t get the tickets and then the museum was sold out so we couldn’t even get tickets on our own. A disgraceful way to run a business especially when people are traveling and depending on you to tour. We are from NY I don’t know when I’ll ever be able to return! Horrible! I do not recommend this tour or even this company- make sure you read all the facts UTG EXPERIENCE is a horrible company! Do not book through them or any 3rd party they’re affiliated with.

Tour cancelled without notice - Even though you pay for your tickets with Viator it doesn’t guarantee your entry. We arrived for our tour to be told there were no tickets available. Our trip to Paris had to include the Louvre its iconic but now we are unable to visit as the tour was cancelled without notice so spilt our whole day of plans.
