This was fun and delicious! - What a great experience, and highly recommended. Our Chef and instructor Luc was pleasantly helpful and patient, walking us through the choux pastry bake. It takes some work to make the pastry and fillings, but with Luc's coaching, your results will turn out well - and enjoyably edible. The Le Foodist kitchen is well lit and comfortable. All needed supplies are ready for your use. You won't handle hot bake trays, but will mix up your choux pastry and use the heated stove top for the filling. Everyone gets a different filling flavor, and Luc will mix up the chocolate icing for the eclairs. No extensive baking experience is necessary since there's a pastry chef helping you each step along the way. All in all, time flew by while we enjoyed the whole process. Our compliments to Luc and the Le Foodist owner and staff for hosting us. This was fun - and delicious.

An unforgettable experience! - An Unforgettable Experience! What an amazing time! Our pastry class brought together people of all skill levels—some experienced in the kitchen and others, like me, who aren’t exactly pros. But we all had an incredible time and learned so much from Chef Stephane Jimenez. He’s not only extremely talented but also fun, engaging, and made everyone feel at ease from the moment we walked in. It was the perfect mix of learning, laughter, and hands-on experience. Chef Stephane even went above and beyond by helping us find fantastic dinner reservations for later in our trip. Truly a highlight of our vacation—such a thoughtful and personal touch! 10/10 would recommend! A fantastic addition to any itinerary.

Great time! Would go again! - Stéphane was a fantastic host and a very accomplished chef! Warm, funny, and clearly passionate about pastry. He broke the lamination process down into steps even first-timers could master, and his energy kept the whole group laughing and learning. The kitchen is spotless and well-equipped, with plenty of space for everyone to roll dough without bumping elbows. We left with a box of picture-perfect croissants, a detailed recipe sheet, and a deeper appreciation for French baking. If you’re looking for a hands-on experience that’s equal parts education and indulgence, Le Foodist is a must. Five buttery stars from both father and son!

THE BEST CLASS!! - It was amazing! Our chef Stephen was just the funniest and the best, I had so many laughs and such a good time. He’s very energetic and professional but hilarious at the same time! At the end, he recommended some restaurants around the area that you wouldn’t necessarily find on your own. Overall just an amazing experience to try out and I totally recommend!

A MUST! - An amazing experience of learning the process of making French croissants in a small group. Our chef, Stephane, had incredible people skills and was patient with all of us. He made it fun and shared a lot of his knowledge regarding bread and patisserie baking. He was also most helpful with local dinner restaurants in Paris. I would highly recommend LeFoodist and if ever back in Paris, I will be taking another class there.

Add to your list! - This was so fun! My husband and I attended together, and we were both able to participate in making the eclairs. Stephane was informative, funny and so helpful. Everything was made from scratch and you really get an appreciation for the process. There were two other groups that attended with us. The only thing I’d say is to wear comfortable shoes because you’re on your feet for about 3 hours. Afterwards, we enjoyed our creations and they served delicious coffee or tea.

YOU MUST TAKE THIS CLASS!! - Anne was a WONDERFUL Chef/Teacher. Cannot say enough nice things about her or her class. She took her time explaining each step & also gave us tips & tricks on how to make the best eclairs and cream puffs. It was super fun, plus our pastries were beyond delicious, with 4 types of made-from-scratch fillings: chantilly cream, vanilla, chocolate & praline. I cannot wait to take what I’ve learned from her & bake for my friends & family. And for me & my fellow bakers to be sent on our ways with our own box filled with what we made… chef’s kiss!!! As many wonderful things I’ve done & seen in Paris, I’m pretty sure this was the highlight of my trip.
