Croissant Class - AWESOME! - The best baking class we've ever experienced! It is a very beautiful, charming, and stylish building. The baker (instructor) is very warm and personable. The process is broken down into simple steps and it is SO much fun! Luc (Baker) made it amazing! The cost is well worth it! You'll get a lot for your money!

Croissant Making - Croissant making class with Chef Stephane was very informative and went over the process step by step. Stephane was a great teacher and the class was small. This was the highlight of our day!

Highly recommend - Highly recommend a cooking class at Le Foodist while in Paris for a truly authentic experience. Our teacher, Stephane, is a Michelin-star chef, and he brought great energy and expertise to the class. All ages enjoyed and took home invaluable tips on making choux pastry, piping and overall culinary skills. Also unlike some other cooking classes, at Le Foodist everyone has their own station so you truly learn a recipe from A to Z as opposed to making a dish as a group. We will most definitely return!

Wonderful learning experience - We were immediately greeted by Fanny upon our arrival at Le Foodist. She warmly introduced herself and informed us that she would be guiding us through the Eclair class. Fanny was extremely knowledgeable and very patient with me, as I had no experience with pastry baking. The entire experience was a delight, the instruction was precise and Fanny was able to rescue my disaster of an attempt at preparation of Crème Pâtissière. Thank you Fanny! I most heartily can recommend both Fanny and Le Foodist for a very professional experience.

Excellent Paris Cooking Experience - Excellent! Our group of four had a wonderful time learning how to make eclairs and cream puffs from our Chef and instructor, Stephan. He was very patient and a lot of fun. In addition to teaching us, he also shared his experiences as a pastry chef and the Paris restaurant scene. After tasting our creations, we were able to take some with us. We were provided with the recipes so we can make them at home.

Gastronomic Tour - Don and I chose to experience the half day “Gastronomic” tour. Our local food enthusiast was Fred. Our tour began with shopping for our French baguette at the local Boulangerie. Onward to picking up our French cheese at the Fromagerie. We learned the 2 cheese bought in France would be the Comte’ and Gruye’re. Same aging-process. ( cow milk) but taste is different because the cows are from different regions in France, so the grass they eat are different as well. Now we stopped at the Seafood market, where Don and Fred snacked on fresh clams and snails. We bought saucisson(sausage) and then my favorite the patisserie. The pastry shop! My choice was a chocolate eclair. Don picked out a huge chocolate “entremet”. Stopped at the caviste for our wine! Lunch was delicious, loving all our treats we picked! Fred, from “the Foodist”gave us a lot of French history with information of all the foods of France. Thank you Fred! This “Gastronomic “ tour was so fun!

This was fun and delicious! - What a great experience, and highly recommended. Our Chef and instructor Luc was pleasantly helpful and patient, walking us through the choux pastry bake. It takes some work to make the pastry and fillings, but with Luc's coaching, your results will turn out well - and enjoyably edible. The Le Foodist kitchen is well lit and comfortable. All needed supplies are ready for your use. You won't handle hot bake trays, but will mix up your choux pastry and use the heated stove top for the filling. Everyone gets a different filling flavor, and Luc will mix up the chocolate icing for the eclairs. No extensive baking experience is necessary since there's a pastry chef helping you each step along the way. All in all, time flew by while we enjoyed the whole process. Our compliments to Luc and the Le Foodist owner and staff for hosting us. This was fun - and delicious.
