Delightful class and experience with dinner and wine! - This is one of my all time favorite activities when I visit Paris! As usual it did not disappoint. Paulo, our lovely Chef and teacher was delightful and fun to work with. Coming together with other visitors is such a night treat and community activity. Ending with a wonderful dinner feels like dining with friends. Highly recommend this activity and Le Foodist!

Marvelous Market followed by captivating immersive traditional meal! - What a wonderful experience! Chef met us at the market which was one of the highlights of our experience. We receive so much amazing information about the food and areas of France where each item came from. From the produce to the meats and fish to the cheeses, it was all beautiful! Then came the cooking and dinner. The location is lovely! Like being in your own personal French dining area with a full chef’s kitchen behind. Our group had six people plus chef and was a very fun and intimate setting. We enjoyed getting to know all the other participants during cooking exercises and then more deeply at dinner. Chef was excellent at instruction and also a very interesting and captivating dinner partner. One of the participants had done this experience previously and liked it so much they had returned! We will definitely do the same next time we are in Paris! Highly recommend if you want a personalized, immersive, and traditional French experience.

Great experience! - My husband and I recently took the Evening Cooking Class French Dinner and Market Visit when we were in Paris and it was an AMAZING experience! We met our delightful leader, Luc, near the market in Saint Germaine and he was so lovely and knowledgeable. He gave us an entire history of French cheese and we even got to try his favorite one, Brillat Savarin. After getting fresh ingredients and a short Metro ride, we arrived at the lovely Le Foodist cooking school. There were 8 of us and Luc was so helpful at explaining what we were going to make. We were able to choose what we wanted to work on. Luc was so good explaining and answering all of our questions, making sure we were having fun and keeping us on task. The other people taking the class were so nice and after some delicious wine and working together, we became fast friends. Together we made an incredible meal of Coq au Vin en Ballentine, Potatoes Dauphinois, Cauliflower Soup and Poached Pear with Chocolate Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream. We will definitely be trying some of the things we learned (cooking the chicken sous vide and the best way to toast almonds) when we get home! All in all it was a fantastic experience and one we won't forget. Thank you Luc and Le Foodist for a spectacular evening!

Great evening at Le Foodist!! - Our evening at Paris Le Foodist was wonderful! Frederic is a great chef but more importantly he’s a super fun, and gregarious individual and made the learning experience a blast. Interaction during the cooking experience with other guests was fun. Our meal was delicious (the cauliflower purée soup was to die for) and dessert was fantastic AND unique. All of this was in a very nicely appointed and furnished setting. I’d highly recommend an evening here.

A Memorable Evening Cooking Class - Such a fantastic experience and a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary while experiencing Paris like locals. Very hands on and relaxed, it truly felt like cooking with friends in a wonderful atmosphere. The market visit was very interesting , especially learning about cheeses. Chef Luc was absolutely amazing, kind, funny, knowledgeable and passionate. He explained everything so clearly, involved us in every step, and was very flexible with dietary preferences. The six hours flew by without us even noticing, and the dinner we prepared was delicious. Cooking while tasting wine and sampling cheeses made it even more special. The venue is beautiful and cosy. Perfect for a cold winter evening. Highly recommended! ! !

Beyond the food itself,... - Beyond the food itself, Chef Luc shared insights into French cooking traditions and ingredients that made the experience feel authentic and memorable. We left not only well-fed, but inspired to recreate these dishes at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly special culinary experience in Paris.

Fun class - Felt it was too long ending at 10:30. More detail would have been good from the booking site. Frederick was super knowledgeable and fun. Loved all the chemistry explanations
