Great DMZ tour - Very well done. Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. My family enjoyed it. Coming back out of the tunnel can be physically demanding for most.

Hellooo North Korea - Jong was very informative and entertaining about the history of the Korean conflicts. It was amazing to walk the Third Tunnel some 80m below ground level and to see North Korea (from a safe distance!)

Small DMZ tour- one of the big highlights of my trip! - This experience was probably one of the highlights of my trip to South Korea- I would recommend it to anyone who would like to hear and see more about the country's modern North/South history. This wasn't originally on my itinerary, however a friend who went in early 2025 said it was also a highlight of her trip- I took her recommendation, and I was not disappointed. I chose the small tour option to see the DMZ, as well as the suspension bridge, with collection from my hotel in Myeondong. My tour guide Vincent gave a personalised touch to the experience by keeping us updated with pick up details via msg, historical information on each site and when we were driving with little headset devices provided with the tour. When crossing into the DMZ past the border, you go go in a larger bus with other tour groups. The tunnels were amazing- but be prepared for a bit of a steep walk! The village, observation building and are also interesting, but you can't take photos facing in quiet a few areas. You arent allowed to go out to the observation deck at the top of the building due to the current situation between the two sides of the country. As it was a cloudy/raining day, we didn't get a great view through the indoor window area into the North. Our guide Vincent did bring some binoculars for us, but we couldn't use them. The last stop on our tour was the suspension bridge, however, as the weather started to clear, our guide asked the group if we wanted to go to another area instead where we could see into the North (the group agreed!). He took us to the Odusan Unification Observation Deck where we got a good view- it had binoculars on the deck so we could see people on the other side. The building also has a nice little Cafe, and art gallery (with pieces expressing the North and South divide). I was really greatful to have experienced this (thanks Vincent for your quick thinking!). At the end of the tour you get dropped off at a few locations- we chose the food markets, and enjoyed a nice early dinner at the end :)

Wonderful tour! - Our tour guide Joo ee was wonderful! She fluidly explained the historical political economical situation surrounding the DMZ and the evolution between the now two Koreas, North and South. We enjoyed the bonus exercise as we toured the tunnel and suspension bridge! Very well organized tour!

Fabulous tour that requires endurance - This was an amazing tour, excellent in every way. Joo-Ee was an outstanding guide. But be forewarned that--should you choose to participate fully--it requires a lot of physical endurance to make it uphill through the tunnel and uphill again to the bridge. Joo-Ee gives fair warning and makes anyone who sits those things out feel totally okay, saying "This is not a military training exercise." (She's actually funny throughout the whole tour!) But if you can't handle too much uphill walking, take a DMZ tour without the suspension bridge addition. The zone has much to see beyond just the tunnel.
