Located merely an hour away from Kraków, the unsuspecting towns of Oświęcim and Brzezinka were the stage for a heartbreaking disaster. The Auschwitz-Birkenau compound represents the cruel purpose behind the Holocaust - capturing and voraciously killing millions of lives under grotesque circumstances. Initially envisioned to operate predominantly as a concentration camp, Auschwitz-Birkenau quickly escalated into an execution factory. The chilling and merciless architectural design of this extermination camp claimed the lives of an estimated 1.5 million victims.
Each year, a myriad of visitors from around the globe flock to Auschwitz to honor these casualties and ensure their stories are never forgotten. For those undertaking this journey for the first time, opting for a guided tour is highly advisable. Merely reading about it doesn’t measure up to witnessing first-hand the gas chambers and crematoria. This sobering encounter will forever be etched in your memory.

Excellent tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau - Our Auschwitz-Birkenau tour guide was exceptional. He spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable in all aspects. Our mini-bus was clean and comfortable, the video film shown en route was very informative, and our driver/guide was also excellent. The only negative was lack of clarity on the morning pickup time. Initial booking said pickup would be between 7-8 am with return by 4 pm. Notification on day before said our specific pickup time at our location was 7 am. This was then later changed to 5:30 am, and then changed again to 5:50 am. If one wasn't paying close attention to their phone, they could end up missing the tour. I think better consistency is warranted. The return time originally stated was also inaccurate, even when adjusting for the earlier departure time (got back considerably earlier).

Well organised excursion with Mr Shuttle - We used Mr Shuttle for both journeys to and from Krakow airport and also for a private excursion, The Auschwitz & Birkenau Tour.
All 3 trips with them were fantastic.
We were greeted at the airport ( we had been delayed getting through passport control but they rang and checked we were at the airport and still required the transfer )
Our excursion was so well organised , we had arranged a private tour and our driver made sure we were where we needed to be at different points throughout the day.
We had to change our return time to the airport and again this was easily organised.
All the vehicles used were clean , comfortable and spacious.
Pre departure for our trip I wanted to ask some questions and liked the fact I could communicate in many ways, the replies were always prompt.
Every member of staff we interacted with , right from the booking stage to return journey to the airport , were professional, efficient and very very friendly.
I would 100% recommend and use again for airport transfers and any excursions whilst in the Krakow area.

Krakow - Mr Shuttle experience - From pick up from Airport to return Mr Shuttle’s service was superb, friendly staff apologised for being 4 minutes late due to traffic, clean vehicles very spacious.
Did the Auschwitz and Salt Mine tour with them as well great guides and lunch was good.

If I could award it double the stars allowed I would. - So pleased we booked with Mr Shuttle, so many tours are cancelled by other companies at the last minute we decided to go with this company because of their reputation for being reliable and that they certainly were. Updates on pick up time and advice on what to wear and bring were very helpful but above all of that the trip itself was amazing. You will not be disappointed if you pick them

Perfect! - The pickup time was right to the minute. The driver was helpful and friendly. The car was clean and spacious. The guide at Auschwitz was very professional. Five stars and a strong recommendation for Mr Shuttle!

Brilliant trip - Well organised, driver turned up exactly on time, was very polite and helpful. Trip itself was interesting and thought provoking. Very sad once in a lifetime visit. Couldn’t fault.

Krakow tour with Mr Shuttle - Absolutely never write reviews but feel I should this time. Mr Shuttle proved to be an exceptionally good choice, everything from the airport transfers to the tour were done to the highest level. Topped off with very friendly and helpful drivers and a great level of punctuality which made our trip so much more stress free, especially when dealing with a group of 12 of us.

Would be better - Very difficult to hear tour guide speech. But this is not about the guide. This is about circumstances on the site (other groups, loud floor etc.) and technique. It could be very appreciated to use "radio earphones" provided by tour operator. I saw this option in other groups, but not in our unfortunately...

Avoid (total disregard for their customers) - Booked last minute due to another operator cancelling. Had to check-out for hotel by 2pm. Tour site states 7 hours duration , confirmed with office tour would drop me
off before 2pm. On pick up confirmed with Tomaz the driver and agin we would be there for 2pm. Let did I know that we would be stopping for optional lunch and then going to Salt Mine and then swapping cars. I arrived back at hotel at 2:45. Tomaz denied all knowledge of stating we would make time. Really bad customer service for the expensive cost and 06:45 pick up. Avoid in my opinion if you want to keep to a schedule, make other plans or believe in customer service

Unreaponsybility driver for your company. - Car driver from Mercedes with plates FG***1N in 4th february 24 drives like a mad. He mades huge danger for others trafic users with his unresponsybilty. Seating at bumpers of other cars at near 150? Seriosuly?
