No cooking involved in the cooking class. Very disappointing. Go elsewhere if you can - My daughter organized a special family cooking class for our overseas holiday and my birthday. She diligently completed all the necessary information + questionnaire prior to the course and advised of 1 x gluten/dairy intolerance and a request for little meat. What we got was far from this experience. We paid for a three course cooking class and only experienced the aperitivo meat, cheese and bruschetta. (We asked for little meat)! Our cooking class consisted of one person cutting tomatoes, one person rubbing garlic on already cooked bread, and the four of us putting filling (cheese and meat in flat bread) before watching the teacher decorate the cold meats and cheese etc., on a platter. that was it apart from cooked eggs and a semolina dish added that the cook did - not us! The class we paid for was for 3 hours - we got 2 hours and had to ask for coffee. No pasta making, no dessert making. No cooking involved in a cooking class. We later complained to the company and received only minimal refund (1 person enrolment) for the course which is not satisfactory, The 'cook' later contacted my daughter and advised she was told the wrong information about the class. Very unsatisfactory that we travelled for over one hour outside of Olbia to get to the class only to have this very disappointing experience with little compensation from the company that made the mistake. Whilst the 'teacher/cook' was lovely the experience was not. We are not making a complaint about the teacher. A platter of store bought meat, cheese, bread and biscuits is not what you pay for in a cooking class. I can do that at a local supermarket. I know how to cut tomato and make a sandwich. The company should take full responsibility for their mistake in miscommunication with the teacher and read both the customers request for diet both in the questionnaire and email correspondence. This is not the cooking school of choice in Sardinia - go elsewhere if you can or do on the mainland if no other available here. It was embarrassing to put on the Cesarina apron as a cook when we didn't cook a thing.
