Beautiful & fun experience in Jamaica - Really fun day, long drive but worth it to see natural beauty. We stopped for a bathroom break en route. Lush green forest was stunning! The roads are primitive so if you’re afraid of heights beware - we felt safe the whole time. Coffee demonstration was brief & we met a woman harvesting coffee on our tour. Food & coffee was nice, even for vegetarians. Credit card machine didn’t work so we couldn’t buy coffee - bring cash! Had to save our cash for tipping guides. We stayed in the van versus hiking/biking as did most others on our bus. They let us walk for sometime which was nice. Our guides were fun & knowledgeable (Neesha was my fav). Recent rain made the swimming hole at the end of the trip too choppy for us but a few people jumped in & there were lifeguards. Definitely worth it & probably my favorite day in Jamaica.

Do not skip this. A must see - Amazing trip, great value for money in an absolutely gorgeous part of the country. With two meals, talks about the wilderness and coffee farms, a swing, a chance to buy cheap coffee straight from the farms and a swim afterwards is something really can’t go wrong with. And that’s just the highlights. DO NOT SKIP!

Fun day in the Blue Mountains - We had a great time in the Blue Mountains! We were picked up from our Airbnb early in the morning and spent the entire day driving through the Blue Mountains, drinking local coffee (delicious) and eating food. At the end of our tour we had the opportunity to have a refreshing swim. Our guides made sure all our needs were met. They were friendly, informative and fun companionship. The guides introduced us to an abundance of Jamaican herbs and spices that are growing in the mountains.

Outstanding tour of the Blue Mountains - We actually signed up for the bicycle tour and had to change it to this one. We were truly amazed at our driver Marky Mark's knowledge and guidance. From the moment he picked us up at the hotel he was pointing out so many different things that we were never bored. It was a full day and a small group and we were quickly all having fun. Once we started up the crazy mountain road we were in awe of his obvious experience in driving and eventually relaxed. He would stop and point out the different plants and what they were used for and the history of the area and the landmarks. We stopped for coffee and brunch and had a wonderful and informative demonstration of the bean off the plant to the coffee beans we use daily. Then we were taken to the top of the mountains to the military training facility where we could actually see Kingston. There were many photo opportunities and our driver did not hesitate to stop when asked or when there was something to see. On the way back down the mountain we stopped at the Asafu Yard and the Charles Town Maroon dance. They served our delicious lunch in a calabash bowl picnic style.

Beautiful, safe, active fun! - We took the transport from our ocho rios hotel to the top of the tour. (less than 2 hours-- LOTS to see on the way!) Our tour guide was very knowledgable and fun. We stopped half way on the trip up to use facilities and grab snacks (both ways). We picked up a security guard ANd an armed cop joined our bike tour....so yes it was very safe. Breakfast and lunch were terrific. They made accomodations for a vegetarian in the group. We left our backpacks and gear on the bus. Anesha stayed with the stuff and kept it safe. If a bike wasnt working great, a bike tour guide would swap it out instantly. The bike guides--- omg were they serious about our safety! And handsome ;) We loved coasting downhill. And the swim! Felt SO good. Ps the tour did not have towels. Pack some. Pps we decided to pay for the photos from Lucky. He did a really great job - emailed them to us 12 hours after the trip and they are incredible quality and really really great. I can make an album out of those pictures entirely! We didn't pay for photos anywhere else.....i was very happy we did with this trip. If you love scenic views and an authentic experience- go!

Great time - My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time on this day the guides were very nice and helpfull Robert thank you for fixing my chain on my bike . the ride is beautiful all downhill they make you wear a helment elbow pads and knee pads I can see why the road down is steep and winding I did very little peddling and alot of braking. had alot of fun and learned alot too . I have seen that people think that the drivers taking you up to the tour take chances not true they are professional and they know the roads well Overall would I recommend doing this tour Yes there were a few people that didn't cycle on the tour and just rode the bus downhill as well so if you are thinking that you would want to see this tour and don't want to bike that is a option . Also Coffee is available to buy on this tour a pound of blue mountain coffee is 25 dollars US which is a very good price

A must see venue of natural beauty - We took this Blue Mountain tour and ended up with a VIP tour for 3 people as most opted for the cycle down the mountain. We all ascended via minibus to just over 2500 feet where we had a light brunch provided as part of the tour. This included the obligatory blue mountain coffee as we were in the blue mountain elevation. Brunch was basic but Ok and this is where they gave a simple demo of coffee roasting. From this point those cycling down signed their disclaimers and proceeded to about 4000 feet to comnence their descent. The single track road was steep, windy and slippy in parts due to the mountain mist so it was not something we felt safe doing. We are sure all effort would be concentrating on the road ahead rather than enjoying the view. Instead we continued to about 6000 feet to the army barracks at the top of the road and it was well worth the effort. The view was stunning and for us is a must see for any visitor. We had lunch at a local Marroon cultural centre and was treated to traditional male drum and dance group. We have to say the guys had so much fun it was infectious. We finished our trip with a dip in the local river. The river bank could really do with a tidy up to make it more presentable. The trip lasted from 8am to about 1pm and was long enough to enjoy but short enough to get a few hours by the pool in the afternoon. We got a 10% discount from our rep and paid $210 US total so we would say it was reasonable value at this price.

Trip to Blue Mountain with Blue Mountain Tours - Unfortunately I can't give a good review about our trip to Blue Mountain provided by Blue Mountain Tours. The pick up was from Runaway Bay on November 28. My concerns are the type of the vehicle and the tour guide. The vehicle didn't work at all with the 10 hours long trip and long drive. It was a mini van. My seat wasn't comfortable, I almost broke my back. They sold all seats to tourists including the one at the front left to the van driver. They squeezed the tour guide in on the temporary seat/ pillow between my husband's seat and the van door. The tour guide was big and pretty fat and could hardly feet between my husband's seat and the door. It was our mistake to stay in this car : we needed immediately to leave it and request a refund or tour on a bus. Unfortunately we didn't do it. The tour guide (Liam) fell asleep on the way back. He was sleeping and snoring for about two hours and occupied a part of my husbands seat. As mentioned previously this Liam could hardly feet in and needed an extra space. My husband and myself were feeling like a sh*. It was absolutely an awful attitude to tourists. We were as a sardines in a jar. You guys sold the tour guide seat to a tourist and won another $125? Good for you. I wish you to buy you pills for these money. Our tour was ruined. Blue Mountain is beautiful. Our van driver was really good all the way on this tricky road. We saw tour buses on the mountain and even were on one of them for the shot drive up the mountain when some of the tourists went to the bike tour. Our guide Nesha for this part of the trip was awesome, we liked her very much. The bus had lots of space, air and seats were comfortable. So means buses can make uphill on this tricky road. Resume: if you decide to take this tour ask on what kind of vehicle you will be going. Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android
