Great experience - Great experience. Our tour guide was great and very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. The dole plantation was very nostalgic since I visited there as a teenager and was able to take my kids back there as an adult. It was a nice mix of relaxing and sightseeing.

Dole Plantation worth the time to go - I really enjoyed seeing the Pineapple Plantation from the fields of pineapples to the lovely gardens. Our guide made a really good suggestion to go on the train ride first. We had only two hours to spend at the plantation. I would have preferred that we spend more time there and less time in Haleiwa Town, By the time I finished the train ride I had very little time to see the garden.

Most affordable Dole tour. - It was a great way to experience Dole that was so very affordable & we could do exactly what we wanted to do at Dole. My family did not want to do the maze or stroll the garden. We just wanted to do the train ride & some light shopping. The coffee stop was great! Ramon our driver recommended some good pastries to go with our delicious coffees. The Macadamia nut farm was very serene. The staff was very kind & helped me choose some nice lotions. The shopping at Haleiwa Town was very crowded. Apparently it’s spring break for the locals too. We stopped & had a fresh, delicious meal there. We made one final stop at the Aloha tower and strolled around for a bit. Ramon was kind enough to take our picture in front of the tower.

It only sucked because it... - It only sucked because it rained the whole time so we didn’t get to experience anything but that. By the time the rain stopped we had to leave the plantation and head to the next destination.

Small Group and Relaxed Opportunity To Get Out of Waikiki - It was the perfect tour for us as a couple who wanted to have a relaxing tour without too many stops or people in the group. We'd been to Honolulu before and wanted to see more of the island beyond swimming with Turtles and Pearl Harbor. This tour delivered. Ramone was an amazing driver who took care of everyone was friendly and considerate. The bus was small and as a group of 7 in total on the bus it was everything we wanted. We got to go to the Dole Plantation and Haleiwa town and because we made good time, Ramone was very courteous by offering to have a quick stop at the Coffee Plantation where they have free samples and we got a really good coffee take away as well. My highlight was to get a pineapple from Dole Plantation. So Good!! In Haleiwa town their were good food options. We ended up having lunch at the super busy road side 'Ray's' Chicken cooked over hot coals and we visited Masumoto Shave Ice and got to meet Mr Matsumoto!

This tour was a great inexpensive way to get across the island without renting a car. - My sister and I did not want to rent a car on our trip so this tour was the perfect solution to visit the Dole Plantation and Haleiwa. The driver picked us up at our hotel in Waikiki. We spent about 2.5 hours at Dole then went to Haleiwa for about 2 hours. I wish we had more time in Haleiwa. We really only had time for lunch and to look in a couple shops. Because this was not our first time visiting these locations, it really wasn’t an issue, but if it were your first time and want to do more shopping I would suggest eating at Dole and try to see all the great shops and galleries in Haleiwa. I personally would do this tour again and suggest it to family members who do not want to rent a car.

Worth the cost! - This is just a shuttle from one place to another. You still must pay for tickets at Dole. We were able to stop at a coffee farm and macadamia nut stand that were not expected. So that was really nice. I would say communication from the company needs some work. We had to call to find out details. We were waiting in front of the hotel and van was parked where the hotel receives deliveries. Driver did point out landmarks but without a microphone those in the back of the van could not hear. The van itself needs shocks and or new tires. It was a loud uncomfortable drive being jostled all over the place. In the end cheaper than an Uber and we were able to see unexpected sites.
