Additional Information

Come explore the USS Arizona and Battleship Missouri, symbolic of both the commencement and culmination of World War II. Visit the ‘Road to War’ and ‘Attack’ exhibit galleries displaying photographs and artefacts from the events that unfolded at Pearl Harbor and throughout WWII. Enjoy a short film detailing the pivotal day and its larger impact. This is followed by a boat trip to the USS Arizona Memorial, the eternal resting spot for its 1,177 crew members.

Over a career spanning 51 years, the USS Missouri has proudly served in WWII, the Korean War, and the Gulf War. The vessel was launched in 1944 from the Naval Shipyard in Brooklyn. This was the third U.S Navy ship christened after the Show Me state, and the fourth American naval vessel to take on the name. An exception includes a Confederate Missouri captured by Union forces during the Civil War, but never commissioned as a United States Ship.
