First time surfing - Amazing first time surfing experience with 808 Surf School! Our instructor, Hugo, was great at making sure we understood how to surf and what to expect once we were in the water. Perfect location for beginners. I highly recommend taking lessons from 808 surf school. A must do while visiting Oahu.

Amazing surf lesson with Mike - My wife and I had an amazing surf lesson with Mike. Right off the bat, you could tell he was pro. He taught us how to position and spot a good wave resulting in us catching twice as many waves as we would have on our own. If you want to learn how to surf or improve your skills, I highly recommend taking a lesson with Mike – it was a fantastic experience!

Great day! - Our whole family had a great time, Hugo and Andy were great with both our girls 10 and 7 and made it a fun and successful morning of surfing. I highly recommend this experience!

Great family fun - First time ever surfing for my 17 Yr old son and 9 Yr old daughter. Andy was great! He had them riding waves to the beach on their second waves. Great instruction, ideal location for beginners, different wave sets as you progress. Easy to coordinate / pay with Michael through website

great experience - Mike and Andy were amazing instructors to my 6 and 8-year-old. They were able to support them in learning the basics and getting up almost on the first time. We will definitely be coming back and my husband and I will be joining. Highly recommend.

Had a great first-time lesson - Andy provided everything we needed (surfboards, shoes, rash guards, water) and picked a great location that was not crowded, felt safe, and had lots of small beginner-friendly waves. It was our first time surfing and we had a great lesson. His wife helped us take a picture with a board at the end. Thank you!

Best Surf School - Mike and Andy were great instructors and I would highly recommend their services. They were able to get everyone in our party to stand on the board and ride the wave into shore on the first run. They have great knowledge of the island and were able to predict where the best waves were going to be on the island. It was a great experience and it was fun to chat with them while we were waiting for our next wave. Thank you guys for an amazing lesson.

Best surf school in Oahu - Had our 3rd session with 808 surf school today. Another solid veteran surf instructor, Hugo, taught us this time and it was amazing. Very professional, knowledgeable. Just like Mike & Andy, Hugo was there to guide/teach us to correct errors we were making. I’v tried several surf schools in Oahu and found most of them are very commercialized but IMHO 808 is genuinely a school for surfing. They also provide lessons at more quiet locations further away from crowds which is what you need especially if you are a beginner. We will be taking our 6yr old son for his 2nd lesson next week. If anyone wants to learn surfing in Oahu, 808 surf school is handsdown your best option.
