Surf Lessons - Hugo was great and was very kind. He was patient and made sure that everyone was safe. He had great advice and had an easy method to learn how to surf. We booked the night before and within minutes they were texting us asking what sizes we wore for the boots and rash guard. He even gave us some recommendations on what to do during our trip. 10/10 would recommend.

Great for first time surfers! - My brother and I had never been surfing before, and our instructor Andy made us feel very comfortable with the new experience. He was very personable, knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. They were flexible with scheduling the experience, and the location they chose was great for beginners. We were alone on the beach and could always stand up in the water when we were out.

Excellent and fun surf lessons - Will was an incredible teacher and coach for my first time surfing. Highly highly recommend Mike’s team. The owner, Mike, was so kind and responsive when coordinating when, where, etc. Will was equally kind and amazing to learn from. After a several runs, I got up on my own wave and we celebrated like crazy - so great - I’m now obsessed with surfing all thanks to the great experience 808 Surf School gave me. Mike and his crew are clear wave gurus.

Best lessons on the island - I tried 3 surf schools while on Oahu. I came back to 808 three times. Really great tram and friendly service. They’ll find you the less crowded breaks and you’re sure to get maximum waves without fighting the hordes. I progressed so much in the three days and never would have done that anywhere else. Back next year for sure!

Stellar Surfing experience - I can't overstate what an excellent experience I had with Mike during my very first surf lesson. I've wanted to surf since I was a kid and was a bit nervous, but Mike immediately put me at ease and had me cruising waves in no time. This was absolutely the highlight of my trip to Oahu, and I can't recommend it enough. I would encourage anyone who is even slightly interested to give them a call - you will have a blast!
