Excellent Tour - This tour was excellent! Our driver, Dave, did a wonderful job. After arriving at Pearl Harbor we had plenty of time to view the memorial as well as walk around and grab a snack. After the memorial he drove us through downtown Honolulu and gave us an abundance of information about Hawaiian history. Our family had a great time!

Robert was great. - The bus turned up on time as confirmed by text the night before. Robert Street was our driver and guide although the Pearl Harbour part of the tour was just a collect and drop off. Robert was excellent even though he had a tough audience explaining things along the way. We were left to our own devices in Pearl Harbour with instructions to meet up a couple of hours later. We then had the city part of the tour and Robert came to life happy to explain everything of possible interest, I was quite keen to find out about the old royal family which he happily answered my questions and even showed us a hidden talent of playing the ukulele while looking round the old court house. The total time for the tour was about 5 hours. Overall worth the cost of the tour.

Worth It for the transportation - Do not expect much information on the tour after the memorial. The pickup and drop-off it selves are worth paying for this tour as a Lyft/Uber would cost about the same or more. Kee pin mind that this tour also includes the ticket entry into the memorial as well as the boat ride to the USS Arizona. They company is extremely great with communication and expectations of what is allowable leading up to the trip as well. They emailed specifications with bag size, and even texted the day before requesting a confirmation that you read everything. I gave it a lower grade because we never got our water or the can of the tropical Hawaiian fruit juice that was listed, and I was expecting more Informationa about the city and got close to nothing. Mostly silence or a lot of "I don't knows" on the drive. My impression from the itinerary was that we were supposed to have stopped at each of the places listed as they all had about 10 minutes at each stop. He only alloweed us to get off at one stop which was the King Kamehameha statue. Everything else was a drive by and point. It would have been extremely impactful and nice to have gotten out at the cemetery as all the flags were up for Memorial Day Weekend. The driver also missed the turn into my hotel, so I had to be dropped off about a block or two away since it's all one-way streets in Waikiki. Again, it's worth paying for the transportation as you won't get a better deal with the memorial USS Arizona tickets included. FYI, there isn't much to eat on the property as one of my friends don't eat meat. So, we had to leave the Pearl Harbor and walk over to a bar (something 604 nearby) to eat. I recommend that spot even if it's busy! The drive by the historical sites is all worth it as well as you probably wouldn't have had a chance to see those things unless you set out on your own. Just don't expect facts along the drive like other tours. At one point, I even asked who Queen Emma was as there was a street named after her, and the driver said she was just a person who they named queen. No, she was a very important and prominent person in Hawaii. I had to Wikipedia everything after.
