Amazing experience great driver/guide - This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip in Vietnam! Our three kids aged 13, 15, 17 really enjoyed it as well. Our guide John/Jun was super friendly! He told us about the area showed us around, took pictures of us and he was driving safe and even went the extra mile to make it into an unforgettable experience Such as picking lotus flowers for us, stopping along the roads to get baby ducks so we could hold and pet them and much more! The climb up to the dragon - 500 steps - was quite heavy due to hot weather conditions, so make sure you bring enough water and salty snacks. We loved the Jeep tour, cruising around in the convertible.

So much fun. Our driver... - So much fun. Our driver was so friendly and took us to a Buddhist temple where the Monk Ngoc showed us around. They gave us so much fruit and water and were so funny and friendly. We got to see parts of ninh binh that we would have missed!

Great Tour - Great tour with John, we had the chance to meet a Buddhist monk, went around hoa lu old Town by night If you come in winter take good jackets because it can get cold on the jeep 😊

Worth the Money! - Absolutely fantastic!!! Got to see the old city gorgeous views, and had an amazing dinner with a local monk, which was totally free. Jeep was fun to ride around in. Had a total blast an enjoyed our time. 100% worth the money. The guide gave us lots of time at local places and took photos of us at scenic places too!

Fun half day with a jeep through Ninh Binh - It was lovely and fun to drive a jeep through the beautiful landscapes. We saw a lot and also got the time to walk around in some places ourselves. The driver and Guide Huynh were super nice and took lots of pictures of us. We wanted some more time for dinner in Hoa Lu and that was no problem. Had a nice afternoon with nice company and a nice environment.

See the sights around Tam Coc. - We really enjoyed this tour very much. A great experience made so enjoyable by a very enthusiastic driver. Would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get off the beaten track and see the back roads around Tam Coc.

We originally booked the... - We originally booked the Jeep tour, but unfortunately the Jeep was broken. Instead, we were given a motorbike tour with the same itinerary, with each of us having our own bike and guide. Our main guide, An, was extremely kind and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and that we enjoyed every part of the trip. Both guides were very friendly and gave us a lovely tour. In the end, we really enjoyed the experience - it was a perfect way for tourists with limited time to see Tam Coc.

Moreso a transport service than a guided tour - Originally booked this as a Jeep tour, but after payment, we were notified the Jeep was out of service — and ended up on motorbikes instead. It wasn’t ideal. The bikes were old and a bit rundown, and while we each had a driver, they didn’t really speak English, so it felt more like a transport service than a guided experience. The tour included stops at a lake, then Mua Cave, where we tackled the 500 steps to the dragon summit lookout. Stunning views from the top! Entry fees were covered, but just a heads-up — this climb is not for the faint-hearted. It’s steep, crowded, humid, and can be quite treacherous underfoot. Definitely bring plenty of water, wear sturdy shoes, and be ready to sweat. It took us around 30–35 minutes one way at an average pace. Overall, not worth the price tag in its current form. Wouldn’t recommend unless the Jeep is available and a proper guide is confirmed.
