Day trip Agra to Jaipur - We travelled to Jaipur from Agra with Deepak. He was a safe driver, cautious at junctions, which is refreshingly novel in India and helped me to feel relaxed. We stopped at two places on the way, the ruined capital of the Mughal empire and a well which was used as the will set for the prison scene in Batman Dark Knight Rises which was well worth what we paid as it came to only a little more than what we would have paid for a direct Uber. The company could do more to be eco friendly, with less litter and things. Thanks Deepak

Agra Tour including Taj Mahal and Agra Fort - This is an excellent tour made better by Akash who made the visit to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort really exceptional and his knowledge/history is 1st Class. You could not ask for a better guide/person to visit the sights of the Golden Triangle i.e. Jaipur, Agra and Delhi. He will arrange any specialised part tours if you do not want the full tour and you will have no worries at all as it will be perfect under the guidance of Akash. Tadj Mahal - See the Crown of all Palaces with the best guide in Agra! - We all know what the Tadj Mahal looks like from pictures that have gone around the world for centuries. But if you want to dive into a true love story mixed with pain and family power struggles AND see the amazing architecture and be able to imagine the hundreds of elephants that carried the white marble to Agra for 20 years, then you should meet Akash. Not only will you then find Agra to be a great place (it can be a little touristy and awful on your own), you will also eat well and you will avoid the crowds queueing for tickets or access, or the salesman pestering you to buy something in their shops of cheap touristy memorabilia. Akash will arrange transfer from New Dehli to Agra (we took the fast train), a driver in New Delhi (with sight seeing and pick up/drop off to the airport), he will have all tickets ready and arrange a table in very good restaurants. Just email him and tell him what you want to do and see. He will tirelessly show you around all the sites in Agra and tell you all these little amazing details that will engrave in your memory. Even if he takes you to a fabulous small place that produces marble objects of highest quality, you will not feel as a tourist taken to a sales event. His service is very competitive in price and takes all the hassle out of a visit in Agra. Akash is very well educated, speaks very good English and is saving up to marry the girl of his dreams. What better reason is there to tip him well. The Tadj Mahal was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, a mausoleum for his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. When Akash showed us the balcony, where the emperor looked at the Tadj Mahal for hours during his eight years of confinement that was ordered by his own son, I did totally understand, why the white tomb is called the 'Monument of undying love'. Akash made the visit to one of the Wonders of the World most certainly worthwhile and it was the highlight of our Indian trip.

Akash is the best - The Taj Mahal is amazing but having Akash as our guide really made our tour exceptional. Akash arranged all the details to make our tour easy, comfortable and educational. He arranged for a driver from to pick us up from our Dehli hotel (courteous and on-time) and for that driver to escort us to and from the train. The same driver was waiting on the platform when we returned that evening. Akash met us in Agra (with fragrant floral leis!) and when our train arrived late (due to fog) he thoughtfully revised the itinerary so we’d visit the Taj Mahal at the end when the skies had cleared and the views would be best. Included in the tour of the Taj is also a tour of the red fort and “baby Taj”- both important and impressive and definitely worth seeing! The best part of the tour is Akash. He is very knowledgeable regarding the history and architecture and directs you to points of interest and anecdotes we would have missed on our own. He was conscientious of our needs (such as bathroom breaks) and his driver had cold drinks waiting for us between tour stops! It was a joy to see the Taj Mahal and even better getting to know Akash. He even arranged a day tour for us in Dehli that was also a success. He is trustworthy and hard working. You will not be disappointed.

Great tour! Great guide! - Took the private day tour of Agra Fort and Tajh Mahal. Our guide Akash Upadhyay was amazing! He was very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible but most importantly he communicated clear directions days before the tour and then the night before so we were clear about where to be and how the day would go. Impeccable customer service. We only had 2 days in India but he helped to maximize our time. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing tour! - I loved this tour. It was arranged perfectly with great communication and follow-through from hotel pick-up to drop-off. Akashi was very knowledgeable and friendly the entire day. Lots of time to talk and take photos. The Taj Mahal takes your breath away no matter how many images you see of it. The train was fast and very comfortable by Indian standards. The drivers at both ends make sure you get to the train without problems. Highly recommend.

What A Day! - We came across Akbran Tours after much research on our proposed trip to the Taj Mahal so decided to contact Akash to price up our itinery at short notice. He came back with a more reasonable price than anyone one else and with all the excellent reviews, we decided to book. All correspondence between us was answered promptly what ever time of the day it was. Akash took care of booking the Gatmann Express tickets, the fast train to Agra. Just as we pulled into Agra, the train came to a standstill, to cut a very long story short we were stuck on the train for 4 hours with no idea where we were or what was going on! as we don't have Indian mobiles, a train manager phoned Akash to say we were on the train and he told us he was trying to get to us, eventually the manager came and told us Akash was here. Apparently there was a big demonstration with protesters blocking the street and railway lines around Agra. Never were we so pleased to see someone! Akash had come by tuk tuk as he couldn't get his car passed the crowds. We returned to Agra where we picked up the car and driver and were given welcoming cold water and our trip commenced albeit 4 hours late. We didn't know how we were going to get back to Delhi as we had no idea if the train was running, Akash checked progress on the time of arrival of the train and it was due at 8.25pm, after refreshments we returned to the station to find it was now going to be around 11pm, as Akrash had suggested going back by car we took him up on this offer as it had been a long trying day. The Taj Mahal itself was stunning and Akashs knowledge on it was second to none. He didn't rush us and we took it at our own pace due to a knee injury. Many thanks to Akash and driver Naval who got us safely back to our hotel in Delhi in a 6 hour round trip. Perfect hosts and we wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend his tour company.
