- Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah - This mausoleum in Agra is often referred to as the “Baby Taj” due to its role as a precursor and inspiration for the grander Taj Mahal. Built between 1622 and 1628, it predates the Taj Mahal, which was constructed from 1631 to 1648.
- Mehtab Bagh - Mehtab Bagh is a stunning garden ideal for viewing the sunrise or sunset over the Taj Mahal. It offers a serene and picturesque experience and is located near the Yamuna River, behind the Taj Mahal.

Our experience in Agra - We had an incredible experience visiting the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Our guide, Mr. Hilal was exceptional—not only did he have a deep knowledge of the history and architecture, but he also knew all the best spots for photos! He explained the intricate details of the marble inlay work and the fascinating stories behind the fort’s walls in a way that kept us engaged the whole time. If you’re visiting Agra, a guide is a must, and we couldn't have asked for a better one. Highly recommended

Best guide for Taj Mahal & Agra Fort - Hilal exceeded expectations. Not only did he explain the history of everything, but he also went in depth about the construction, unique illusions, design and structural details and not to mention having an eye for IG worthy photos (even candids). He made sure you were present and teleported you to a different time. If there was any guide that I would recommend for the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, Hilal is your guy. Super friendly and fluent English as well.

Great Taj Mahal tour - Excellent tour and very well organized. The driver was punctual, the car was comfortable, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. My guide was knowledgeable and shared interesting details about the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Skipping the lines saved a lot of time and made the experience much more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Sunil and Shahid: Upfronr and Fair Minders - I stumbled upon Shahid and Sunil coming out of the Agra airport. They were upfront about pricing and did not bully me on price. I appreciated Shahid's skill with photography.
They took US Dollars and to say thank you I gave them a premium above the 1000 rupees/day for the car and sunil which came with an railway drop-off the next day. I also gave Shahid a tip on his 500 rupee guide fee. He definitely deserved it as he is a skilled phone photographer.
I appreciated that once I was their customer they didn't keep selling.
If you don't want to go to the additional sales or tourist shop afterwards, tell them in advance. This way there are no surprises. Once I said no to buying anything there was no pressure and they served me a chai tea.
I want to come back and see both of them again!
