Delhi Arrival and City Exploration
Qutub Minar - Commence your tour at 9am with a pick-up from the airport or your hotel in New Delhi, and embark on a journey through New Delhi’s sights. The tour includes a visit to the Qutub Minar, a 72.5-meter high tower constructed in the 11th century by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty, who seized control of Delhi in 1206. This red sandstone monument is adorned with detailed carvings and inscriptions from the holy Qur’an.
India Gate - Pay homage at the India Gate, a monument erected to honor the approximately 90,000 Indian soldiers who perished in WWI, the Northwest Frontier campaigns, and the 1919 Anglo-Afghan War.
Parliament House - Explore the Parliament House, also known as Sansad Bhavan, which houses India’s two legislative chambers, the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. Enjoy a drive past the majestic government edifices, including the President’s House and Parliament House, all of which date back to the era of British rule.
