- Humayun’s Tomb - Now you get to see the impressive tomb in Delhi. Humanyunâs Tomb is considered to be an inspiration for the world famous Taj Mahal. Humayunâs was the son of Mughal emperor babur though he is at not regarded as high as his father his son akbar is known as one of the greatest mughal. Wife of Humayun after his death started constructing a mausoleum for her husband she was the Haji Begum in year 1565 ACE almost after nine years of the death of emperor Humayun the constructor started and carried in for next seven years. Ultimately in year 1572 the monument was completed. Though many Islamic monuments preceded the humayunâs tomb but perhaps the mausoleum is pioneer in India displaying many architectural marvels for the first time. Persian architect Mirak Mirza Ghiyas whi hailed from heart in Afghanistan was the chief architect of this monument though he died before the final completion of the monument.

The Delhi I never knew - I did not expect this tour to be great, but it was. Sunny, our tour guide, was professional and super knowledgeable of the history of all of the attractions. I have been around the world on many tours. This tour showed the beauty and history of Delhi. If you go to Delhi, this is a tour not to be missed and ask for Sunny as a guide.
