Perfect tour with Perfect Agra Tours - I booked the 5 Day Private Luxury Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore. On this tour I chose to book my own accommodation with all other services provided by Perfect Agra Tours (PAT). I was a solo female traveller, with this being my first time to India. The tour starts in Delhi and PAT will collect you from any hotel. Prior to the tour, I contacted PAT to advise them of the hotel I was staying in. I did this for all of the hotels on my trip and I also informed them of my dietary requirements (Vegetarian) . I believed this helped them organise service stations for me along my routes. I would like to note that the response from Ashish, the owner of Perfect Agra Tours was rapid, even considering the time difference between India and the UK. This was very reassuring. Upon landing in Delhi, I didn’t have any specific information on my drivers information. I found this disconcerting but due to the Viator 1 day cancellation policy, Ashish was unable to provide specific details ahead of time. The night prior to my tour, around 6pm I received my drivers details. My tour of Delhi was with a gentleman named Sharma. His knowledge was fantastic and he ensured I saw the best of what Delhi had to offer. We started at Jama Masjid, followed by a rickshaw journey through to the spice market. I thoroughly enjoyed this section of the trip. It felt genuine and I didn’t see many other tourists in the area. The colours/spices/foods were a delight for the senses. I saw the Red Fort from the vehicle. Unfortunately due to a military parade we were unable to get closer. The same for the India Gate as delegates were in Delhi and the Lotus Temple which is closed on Mondays. We did however get to visit Qutub Minar, which was a lovely monument to explore. Sharma recommended a good lunch stop, with good Indian food in a clean and welcoming environment. I have high praise for Sharma, a lovely informative guide and he was also a wonderful photographer. We then proceeded to Agra. The following morning I had a sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal, lead by my guide Malik. Malik asked if I was good to walk to the entrance gate, or if I needed a buggy. I found this very considerate. I loved to witness the monkeys before you get into the main Taj area, but note they are wild (do not stare/take photographs!). Upon entering the Taj, it takes your breath away. Malik was a brilliant photographer and thanks to his knowledge, I now have photos and information I can cherish for a life time. We then went to Agra Fort, which is still a working military occupied fort. Agra fort is beautiful and compliments the Taj tour very nicely. Finally, a visit to the marble factory and outlet. It was interesting to see how the traditions that built the Taj are still being passed down and using the same techniques. The marble store is beautiful, but if you do not wish to purchase anything, be forceful. A big thank you to Malik, I will remember our tour fondly. It is a 6 hour drive to Ranthambhore, but you do stop for a rest and break up the journey along the way. In Ranthambhore, I had two safaris pre-booked through PAT. I was very pleased they booked the Gypsy vehicles (Jeep) rather than the Canters (bus like vehicle). Whilst it was unfortunate we didn’t see any tigers, I did see tiger prints, so they are certainly in the area. Other wildlife I witnessed included peacocks, gazelle, antelope, deer, wild bore, mongoose and black faced monkeys. I have taken safaris in other parts of the world and the biggest difference is that our “guide”/security personnel didn’t utter a word throughout either safari. My first driver didn’t say anything, however the second driver was much better and informative on the wildlife we saw. Hit and miss, but don’t expect to learn much. On a side note, your morning tour time is not confirmed until the evening prior and the afternoon tour until around lunchtime. To Jairpur, where we had a full afternoon tour with a gentleman named Varun. Once again, his English and knowledge was flawless. I saw the main sights of Jaipur including Amber Fort and Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal and more. However, I also appreciated being taken from the main tourist sites to Gaitor Ki Chhatriyan. Barely any tourists, but a wonderful place to see a beautiful temple and witness locals meditating and cooking using traditional methods. Varun was fabulous, and I would not hesitate to recommend his services. Once again, a tour guide who should be a photographer! The following day, myself and my driver travelled to Delhi where my tour finished. But not before a quick exploration of Birla Mandir temple. Well done Sonu for highlighting such a lovely way to end my time in Jaipur. Just a note about tour inclusions, I did have to pay for locally; Jama Masjid (600rps), rickshaw (500rps), Qutub Minar (550rps),Taj Mahal (1150rps), Agra Fort (300rps), Amber Fort (500rps), Gaitor (200rps). I wasn’t expecting this as I thought this was included prior to arrival, so a heads up to future bookers. Finally my driver, Sonu…I cannot stress how much he made me feel at ease. His English was great, as was his driving! I joked he had eyes in the back of his head. I really enjoyed the tea shanty stops en-route and it really made me feel like I was getting the full Indian experience. As a solo female traveller, he was wonderful and I truly felt lucky to have experienced his services. The car was immaculate and air conditioning and water as needed. Overall, with Perfect Agra Tours and Ashish at the helm to answer any questions, you are in safe hands. I would thoroughly recommend not only this tour, but Perfect Agra Tours in general.

Incredible Experience with Amazing People - As four young female travelers we wanted to book a tour that would allow us to see India feeling safe so we opted for this private tour. It was beyond our expectations, I cannot recommend this enough. Our tour guide Sharma in Delhi was incredible, very knowledgeable and we had the best time. Then we went to Agra we had Mallik who did a great job explaining the history and capturing our photos. In Jaipur we had Deepak who was amazing as well! Lastly, the most important member of our experience was Gopal our driver. We cannot say enough good things about him - incredible at every part of the trip! The hotels, the food, the service and hospitality were beyond what we could have imagined. We will definitely be recommending this tour to anyone coming to Delhi!

Awesome tour - make sure and book one with them and ask for Malik - We started our tour at 5 am and Malik greeted us and gave us a wonderful and educational tour of the Taj Mahal. He explained so much about the Taj Mahal that I never knew. He then took us around Agra to a number of shops including a place that explained and showed how they inlay other types of stones into the marble. We also visited a garment and store jewelry store as well. I would highly recommend asking for Malik if you take this tour.

Gold Triangle of India - Solo - What an amazingly journey I did over in India! Even though it was only 5 days but I had one of the greatest experiences ever!! Ashish which is a travel agent, recommended me to do a Safari in Ranthambore. I have never experienced something like this and it was amazing with beautiful views. On the first day I visited Delhi on the Holi festival, the oldest shops in Delhi Center were closed but doing a walking tour with a great guide (Tarun) and explaining the history of the shops and visiting Jama Mashazed (Mosque), Lotus temple and Qutub Minar (which is considered the oldest fortified in Delhi’s), was amazing and so much history! After I went straight to Agra because for the next day really early, going to see Taj Mahal on sunrise! The hotel I stay in was really good with amazing food! And see Taj Mahal itself and not on picture, is breathtaking! The Guide in Agra (Malik) explaining the history of Taj Mahal, the architecture and how was made with the precious marbles, crystals all over the world. After Taj Mahal, I was in Agra Fort which the same guide explaining the history, how many years took for building and so on. After Agra to Ranthambore, where I experienced the safari with wonderful views. The Hotel in Ranthambore was grand as well and huge space and of course great food! From Ranthambore to Jaipur where it called the Pink City, where it has one of the greatest food I ever had, Rajasthan food is amazing! Again the hotel I stayed in was grand with a great food as well! The guide in Jaipur (unfortunately I forgot the name) is great, taking me for doing a sightseeing for the palaces of the rulers and explaining the history, and how was the creating for each material, very attentive. And of course do the sightseeing in Jaipur, seeing the perfect architecture and history about them, is breathtaking. I couldn’t do this without an excellent driver Mr.Anil, a perfect driver, responsible, wonderful person! He was also showing me and explaining the temples and cultures for each neighborhood we were driving. In resume of all if you want to visit India, don’t hesitate to talk with Ashish, with his expertise, he will give a really good recommendations and advices to give one of the best moments you will have!

M & B from Miami - It is an interesting experience! We always do private tours. We would like the drivers to know a little bit of English. We shared 5 days with the driver in the car, and there was not interaction. He was extraordinarily correct, and carefully prepared for the crazy drive around the Golden Triangle roads. In the hotels for the safari, and Jaipur hotel, the buffets showed the name of the food only in Indy language. There were no options for another kind of food, even pasta was spicy. However, people were very cordial and attentive!

A lot of great sightseeing experiences with service and planning shortcomings - We liked the tours we found online but couldn’t find one that perfectly matched our available travel days. So we directly contacted them and asked for an individual itinerary. In general the planning worked well and the trip was always adapted to our wishes and circumstances. Eventually we had a 5 day 4 nights trip from Delhi to Agra, to Ranthambore, to Jaipur and back to Delhi – almost identical to this trip. Since this offer had the best value for money compared to others we booked Perfect Agra Tours' offer. Ranthambore was a recommendations by the organizers. They said that two full days in Jaipur would be too much. Looking back, skipping Ranthambore and spending two days in Jaipur would have been fine as well. One more day in Jaipur would have been a more relaxed trip. By going to Ranthambore, we experienced more of course and had fully planned days every day of the trip.
Depending on if you prefer to see as much as possible or if you prefer some time to relax this is something to think about. Furthers notes to Ranthambore: We were lucky to see a tiger. However, it’s not guaranteed. So go there with the mindset to enjoy nature and all the other wildlife that lives there. Think about the tiger as a bonus so you won’t be disappointed.
We did the canter safari (bus) because there were no more jeeps available. The difference between the jeeps and the canter safari wasn’t as big as expected. The jeeps are quicker to get around which is an advantage if a tiger is spotted somewhere else. However, we didn’t see them driving off road which would have been a completely different experience. If possible I would still recommend a jeep because depending on where the tiger is spotted you might have all the people on the bus in front of you. Some notes about some of our tour guides: Malik in Agra was great. In our opinion the best we had during this trip. He showed us the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort as well as places where we were showed how the walls of the Taj Mahal are made and how Persian carpets a handcrafted. Furthermore he helped us with organizing things around our trip. In Jaipur the service was not as good. We almost spend a whole day sightseeing with our tour guide. A lunch break, however, was not part of the plan. It would have been great if that would have been clearly communicated before or if he would have at least asked if we were interested to eat somewhere. So you should either bring something to eat or ask for a lunch break. Maybe even better a day before. Also, once he started going to the next place, he never turned around to make sure if we could follow up with him or if we stopped for a photo. The driver usually picked us up on time. He was a good driver but not the best navigator and not very well prepared. We only booked the hotel in Ranthambore through Perfect Agra tours. And this was the one we had trouble finding. After Agra we had to help him navigate multiple times and keep him on the right track. This is not just his fault. Also his employer could have prevented this. In general it was rather a reacting to things that happened than preparing and taking precautions. We are happy to help if there are technical issues but didn’t expect to have to do so much planning and organizing throughout our trip. That’s not why we booked such a tour. Overall, we experienced as much as we could, but it's only max. 3 out of 5 stars, as the service and organization didn't quite meet our expectations in the end.
