Get more out of your trip with a local guide - The wholesale spice market was truly amazing to see end navigating the narrow lanes in old Delhi, looking at the houses, the micro businesses and learning about the history was a highlight of my tour. I had a fantastic guide who was happy to answer all my questions about India and how the system works. I usually love exploring on my own, but visiting a new country, it makes so much sense to have the company of a local at least to begin with, and and I can highly recommend organising a tour.

Fanstastic Tour - Raj’s tour is an incredible adventure where you’ll encounter an extraordinary array of people, shops, and flavors. With an incredible sense of humor and sharp wit, Raj shares his in-depth knowledge of his beguiling and magical city. And, of course, the shopping is great too.

Mr. Rajmalani AKA Raj was my tour guide. He is outstanding! Highly competent, articulate, funny, worldly...I could not have asked for a better tour guide/shopping assistant. I felt safe in his company as we traversed the crowded streets of the bustling markets. His choices of stores were neat, clean and exactly what I, as a discerning shopper, wanted. Raj tailored the day to my interests and skipped those things that did not appeal to me. It was the perfect day. You're the best, Raj!

This was a very enjoyable day trip... -
This was a very enjoyable day trip. We had a great guide and very nice driver. The car was very new and comfortable for all 5 of us 3 adults and the guide and driver. The driver did an amazing job of smooth driving through the Delhi traffic. The guide was happy to listen to what we were interested in and to make some suggestions on where was best to shop for those items we wanted to buy. He took his time to tell us about some of Delhis history and about landmarks we passed. We never felt rushed and when we wanted to stop and have coffee, he was happy to do so. As we were touring on Christmas Day, there was some issues with traffic, but our guide was able to adjust by us taking the underground transit a few stops. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and efficient it was. As good as the Japanese system! Overall an excellent day! Loved the Rickshaw Ride through old Delhi.

The driver and tour guide were... -
The driver and tour guide were great. I learned about the 4 faiths that started in India. That alone was worth the money. Both the driver and the guide were friendly and kind. I enjoyed the restaurant they took us to for lunch. The food was Amazing. The only thing I didn't like was it seemed like the places they took us to shop were overpriced. I didn't know until I went to other places on my own and saw the same things sold for 1/2 the price I paid.
I still would recommend the tour just to see the sites and to go to the places/areas to do great shopping. I would just shop at the places you choose and not by anything in the places they take you into.

Disappointing - Experiencing Chandni Chowk markets. I contacted our guide well before the tour, stating that we did not want to be taken to organised shops, where tourists are taken advantage of for the benefit of shop and guide. I also expressed that we wanted to see a lot of the markets. We went to two shops at the markets, both of which were in the above mentioned category. We stayed very little time at the markets, which was unfortunate, and I should have said that we wanted to stay. He wanted to take us to lunch, but as we had limited time, we were happy to go without, which he was not too happy about. The clothing and fabric shop that we were taken to, instead of the one that we had requested, was a total rip off. My friend’s card was charged, then they tried to charge again, resulting in the bank blocking her card. We looked around the Kahn markets, and they were pleasant. The guide was impatient, except in the shops where he had an interest. We were also informed that we had to pay extra for our Tuk Tuk ride through Chandni Chowk market, and that was not mentioned prior to booking, or even before getting into the Tuk Tuk. Our driver for the day was just lovely. He was very polite and provided us with water. Overall not great, but my fault for not speaking up.
