Highlights
  • New Delhi - Your guide and driver will meet you at the lobby of Your Hotel, from where we’ll drive to Mehrauli.
  • Mehrauli Archaeological Park - This sprawling archaeological area is spread over 200 acres in Mehrauli, Delhi, adjacent to Qutub Minar World Heritage site and the Qutub complex. It consists of over 100 historically significant monuments. Overlooked by most of the tourist hordes, this park preserves some of the most historic relics of Delhi.
  • Champa Gali - Visit a hidden alley which offers a vibrant blend of cool cafes, art, and culture. We’ll stop for a cup of coffee and a snack at a café with a sustainable approach and learn about the changing culture of Delhi.
  • Lodhi Art District - This is India’s first open-air public art district. This initiative was begun by the St+art India Foundation, a non-profit organization working to make art accessible to a wider audience. The once non-descript area is now filled with over 50 murals created by both local and international artists.
  • Sunder Nursery Park - The last stop of the tour is Sunder Nursery, a 16th-century heritage park complex perfect for taking a refreshing break in nature. Hidden Gems of Delhi - I really enjoyed the Hidden Gems Tour - Prahlad was an awesome guide and made the tour fun and interesting. It was great to see a calmer side of Delhi, and visit places that other tourists don’t generally go to.

Interesting and fun - Great to see something different during our time in Delhi. Prahlad was our guide and he was friendly, well informed and helpful. The architecture park was the highlight for me although the gardens and street art were also good. Recommended if u want to see a different side of Delhi away from the crowds. Thanks Prahlad

Great experience and great guide! - I had a great time on this tour! It took me to some places I likely wouldn’t have discovered travelling on my own. Sunder Nursery was especially peaceful and beautiful. Aman is a wonderful guide with a wealth of knowledge about Delhi and India (and beyond!) and gave me some great advice for future adventures. Thank you.

Old Delhi Tour - I had a wonderful tour with Dikshika Chauhan to old Delhi on 2/23/2020 with my friend Lachlan. I must tell you that for one, she is a amazing tour guide who is very knowledgeable about the sights and sounds in Old Delhi. There was times I had trouble walking stairs and she held my hand to make sure I didn’t fall, or get injured especially in the busy markets of Meena Bazar, Chadni Chowk , and Humayun tomb. I really enjoyed going to the spice market and bought some incredible Masal chai at A. Kumar. I was taken by how well she was able to handle the crowds, streets and frantic traffic, I felt safe and well cared for during the whole tour. I would recommend Urban Adventures tours to anyone who wants to learn about the old Delhi culture and history, and have a fun time with a lovely, kind, tour guide, Dikshika Chauhan.

Great tour with lovely Dikshika - Great tour of « hidden gems » in Delhi! If you are looking for beautiful green spaces to get away from the hassle and traffic, this tour is perfect. It includes visits to the newly refurbished botanical garden (Sunder nursery) and the Archeological Park, both beautiful and big green spaces. We also visited an art colony where we had lunch in a super nice restaurant with a garden and could buy locally made « recycled » souvenirs. Finally, the street art was a great walk in probably the quietest street of Delhi with nice architecture. All in all, great tour of the less explored landmarks in Delhi. For me it was the perfect combination of walking and a bit of driving. Finished the tour satisfied I have seen a lot of things without being exhausted. Really enjoyed it especially in the company of our lovely guide Dikshika from Urban Adventures!

Hidden Gems of Delhi - I did this terrific tour in mid-December with my delightful guide, Aman. I was in Delhi for four days prior to a tour of Rajasthan and it was absolutely the best time I had in that city. To be almost totally away from the noise and busyness of Delhi was a delight. The Mehrauli Archaelogical Park was fascinating and the Sunder Nursery a haven of peace, beauty and quiet contemplation. Our coffee stop at Jugmug was great -like being in a cafe in Melbourne - try the detox tea as it’s delicious. The charitable organisation has items that make good gifts, using recycled materials, and in India this is just the best thing that could possibly be done. If/when I return to India I would definitely do this tour again and preferably with Aman, who was both knowledgeable and fun and I will take with me some local friends who have never been to these interesting places.

Hidden Gems of Dehli - We loved our first tour with Prashant so much that we decided to do another! Hidden gems was a great way to see some things less visited by tourists in Dehli. Prashant is a fabulous guide and it really felt like we had just gone out with a friend for the day. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxed but interesting tour. Driver was also great and the experience was very well organised.
