Trip to Ganga- Short distance from Delhi - The holy Ganges river at Garh Mukteshwar is just 110 KM from Delhi. So it is ideal 1/2:day trip from Delhi for performing any religious ceremonies. The river is wide. For boat ride be wary of touts. They start from Rs 4000 for a short trip.Pujaries also follow one around. Best is to go around the Ghats during the morning and evening hours. There is rush for bathing in the Ghats on Sundays.
