After a 1.5-hour hike, we will arrive at an untouched plateau on the mountain, where we will take a break for breakfast or lunch. For those seeking more adventure, we can continue beyond the plateau to reach the mountain’s summit at 2,500 feet.

This journey will take us into a hill station area, known as a bio-hub in the state. After a brief rest at the top, we will descend the same way we came.

This trekking path is one of the rare unspoiled hidden paths in the vicinity of Mumbai. It’s isolated and distant from masses & turmoil, which is currently commonplace at the majority of trekking locations in the metropolis.

The journey leads us over a crest that provides a nearly complete 360 panoramic scene overlooking an enormous lake.

The terrain remains unscathed by human intervention and maintains its wild & unprocessed state. The region is densely blanketed in shrubs and grassland. This explains why this location has been our hiking host for the last decade.
