MUMBAI MARKETS: fish & flower - fish market at 5:45am was incredible experience to comprehend how vast the network is of Indias people working together to feed their state. The flower market is highly related to India’s lifecycle experiences, prayers and ceremonies - remarkable

Heavenly sent Scents - Our group visited the open-air spice market and manually helped roast garam masala over an open flame. Warning: the machines that crush the roasted herbs and other goodies are deafening. The scents, however, are heavenly. Some of the material got tossed outside the roasting pan and was casually placed back in the roasted batch. OK, this is Indian street preparation. If you buy locally roasted herbs in Bombay, make sure you cook them well during the preparation of your foods.

Insights from an authentic Mumbai experience! - Thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Batul, who engaged with us in a way that most tour guides with rote info do not. As a result we felt we'd gained a real sense of Mumbai, its people and how they live their lives. Also worth mentioning how good the No Footprints team Is to deal with in the planning phase. Highly recommended!

A fabulous experience! - The spice market was really interesting - seeing bespoke family spice mixes tempered and pounded into ground spice. The Chor Bazaar - and surrounding neighbourhood - was also fascinating. I couldn’t fault any of the Mumbai tours I did with Heer and Shaili - they were wonderful 😀

Two Mumbai Markets and their history - Tvishi was an amazing guide. She not only guided me through two markets, but she told me the history of them - why the markets were developed and by who, as well as their potential future. She also was able to answer all questions I had about the areas we drove through to the markets. Highly recommended!

Exceptionally good - My first time in India and I went on a solo tour within a good hour after arrival. Krupesh was a fantastic guide with a deep understanding of how to introduce a newcomer into the local culture. A happy outgoing personality. The spice market I found highly interesting when he opened up the local culture.
