- Churchgate Railway Station - 10:00 Hrs The guests will be picked up by the Guide from the Hotel and drive to the Churchgate Railway Station where they will see the Dabbawalas disembarking the Dabbas ( Tiffins ) in the wooden cart from the Train. 10:30 Hrs At Churchgate station the Guest will see how the people stand in the Ticket Counter Q and take their tickets to reach their offices. Now the guests will escorted towards the platform to board the Local Train for Mahalaxmi Station. Local Train are the major means of transport in Mumbai. . This Tour will give you an opportunity to experience the Mumbai Local Train. We travel in First Class Compartment and will be traveling from South to North Mumbai when there is no crowd.

Lanson’s Mumbai - Landon took us all over with a great driver
Saw so much of Mumbai with ease. We could never do it without Lanson and his information very illuminating and not overwhelming

A Magical Tour of Mumbai!! - We had an absolutely fabulous day touring the city of Mumbai with our fabulous guide, Arun and excellent driver, Mr. Daniel ! We were able to experience the open air laundry Dobi Ghat, the flower market, the local train, Dabbawalla-Tiffin lunch delivery, chai tea with ginger (delicious)! We also visited the fruit & veggie market, played the Indian Lottery and enjoy a delicious lunch at the Goa Portuguese restaurant before visiting the Djarvi Slum (Home of Slum Dog Millionaire). We were also provided opportunities to shop along our travels through the amazing Mumbai!!

An eyeopening and amazing professionally operated tour. - An amazing, eye opening interesting tour. We were explained in great detail about the way of life in the slums. Our guide knew everything about the slums and answered all questions. Also we were picked up in time in an comfortable car

Best way to know the people and economy of dharavi - Best way to know the people and economy of dharavi. many small scale units are run by the locals in the least available spaces, all thanks to the guide who took us to many hidden alleys .

A sea of slums with a sea of hopes - A sea of slums with a sea of hopes. The dwellers proudly operate cottage / recycling units in their backyard and try to make their ends meet. The skills of Dabbawala men was amazing , also enjoyed a little ride in the lifeline of mumbai: the Mumbai local train
