Chiang Rai to Chiang Khong - Huay Xai

Chiang Rai - 2:00 – 2:30 PM: The team will collect guests from their hotel in the Chiang Rai city center. Please be prepared in the lobby during this time.

Chiang Khong - 2:30 PM – Travel in a shared, air-conditioned van from Chiang Rai to the Chiang Khong border, enjoying the scenic countryside along the way.

Chiang Khong - 4:00 PM – Border crossing and Laos visa assistance. The staff will guide guests through Thai immigration and assist with the Laos visa-on-arrival process at the Chiang Khong–Huay Xai border.

The 4th Thai–Lao Friendship Bridge - 4:45 PM – Cross the 4th Thai–Lao Friendship Bridge by shared shuttle bus. Guests will travel over the Mekong River and officially enter Laos, where the local Lao team will be ready to welcome them.

Huay Xai - 5:00–5:30 PM – Meet the Lao team in Huay Xai and enjoy a brief transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Huay Xai - Mekong River - Pak Ou Caves - Luang Prabang, Lao

Huay Xai - 06.40 - 07.10 AM. Guests will be picked up from their accommodation and transferred to the slow boat pier. The transfer from the hotel to the pier takes about 10–20 minutes.

The team will assist with necessary documentation and ensure guests have everything needed before boarding the slow boat. This includes checking travel documents, confirming luggage, and providing a short briefing about the journey ahead.

Pak Ou Caves - 1:30 – 2:00 PM, Midday – Explore Pak Ou Caves (Approx. 40 minutes) Visit the sacred Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of Buddha images placed over centuries by devoted pilgrims. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and a short walk through the limestone grotto overlooking the Mekong River.

Luang Prabang - 5:00 – 6:00 PM: Arrive at the Luang Prabang pier. A complimentary transfer to the hotel (within 3 km) is included.
