A Very Nice Tour and Guide! - Russell was the best guide we ever had! He was at the pick up point with the names of his guests displayed and greeted us immediately. He was a very good driver and local historian. He knows his tours and handles everything. He is actually still helping us out with helping us out replacing some souvenirs we purchased during his tour and misplaced. This man will win the Viatour award in 2025. (If there is such a thing) We have used Viatours quite often around the globe and Russell ranks among the best in our opinion.

Make your own unforgettable memories! - This tour was truly amazing! I gained a profound appreciation for Māori culture, and the highlights were many: the magical geysers, the unforgettable sight of kiwi birds, and the breathtaking Redwood forest. The brief stop at a kiwi plantation was also a valuable addition. A special thank you to our knowledgeable and engaging guide, Russel, who made the experience even more exceptional.

Book this tour! - If you like smaller groups and individual attention, book this tour! With easy pick up from just outside the cruise port exit and several “extra” picturesque and informative stops, this was one of the best tours we’ve done in New Zealand. Don’t fly half way around the world and miss the geothermal wonders of Rotorua.

Absolutely recommend - We are so glad that we signed up for this tour and Russell was our guide. We saw Kiwi orchid, Rotorua lake, Maori village with performance, geothermal pool, and the National Forest. Russell has a wealth if information. It was a very worth while trip for the price.

Our pickup was from the... - Our pickup was from the cruise port and very convenient. The van was older and crowded. The driver was knowledgeable during the drive and informative. The tour was well led by locals and everything explained. You are given lots of time to look at mud pools, geysers, and the Māori culture performance was great.
