- Tauranga - Crossing the Tauranga Harbour Bridge, the tour will proceed through the Port of Tauranga, highlighting how industry has transformed Tauranga into New Zealand’s busiest port, while offering breathtaking views of the harbour and Matakana Island. In Tauranga, visitors will see some of New Zealand’s earliest European settlement buildings, beautiful gardens, and learn about the Maori and European settlement in the Bay of Plenty, which shaped the city of Tauranga as it stands today.
- Te Puna - Departing Tauranga, the tour heads west to the Kaimai Ranges’ foothills, offering stunning area views, a lunch stop, shopping, and a chance to taste locally and globally sourced handpicked teas. A short drive leads to a Kiwifruit orchard, where visitors will learn about the Kiwifruit industry, sample its fruit, including the renowned gold kiwifruit, see Avocado trees, understand how this remarkable tree produces one of the world’s superfoods, and sample local avocado products. The final stop is the lookout on the Minden hills, providing a breathtaking view across the bay and harbour, before returning to Mount Maunganui to conclude the tour.

Russell was very... - Russell was very knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciated learning the history of the various sites and tasting the kiwis was awesome. It was a wonderful half day spent.

Russell was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. - This trip was excellent. Our tour guide was Russell. He was very knowledgeable about the area. He made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The trip and tasting to the kiwi grove was fascinating. We enjoyed every minute of our tour. We were picked up at the port. He was prompt with both departure and return times. We then were able to walk about town and then return to the ship at our own leisure.

Fun and informative small group tour - Very well organised tour with excellent communication pre tour re meeting point etc. Russell was knowledgable and very informative as a tour guide. Vehicle was very comfortable with multiple stops at points of interest during the journey. Very good value for money.

Top excursion - We really enjoyed the excursion and gained a lot of knowledge.

Recommend Wicked Wonders - Russel was excellent, friendly, honest and did what he said he would. So turned up on time and went to the stops as described. I really liked the visit to kiwi place standing right next to the vines and in particular getting to taste the golden kiwi. My husband liked the historical talks and leaning more about New Zealand.
Great tour to get a good overview of the area. Would recommend Wicked Wonders

Great Half day tour of Tauranga - We just did the the half day scenic tour and kiwi fruit tasting. Russell was an awesome tour guide and a wealth of knowledge on the culture and history of Tauranga and New Zealand. Stopped of at a nice little cafe, great slices and coffee.We never knew Kiwi fruit grew on a vine and there were so many varieties before this tour. I was was very informative and a great day out. Thanks for sharing your insights and passion for New Zealand Russell.

Happy and memorable stay. - Our trip was conducted very well and the guide was a pleasure to move around with. I recommend this trip to everyone who doesn't have the whole day but still want to enjoy Tauranga.

Kiwi Tour - The tour was great, saw the Kiwi farm and tasted a couple of types of Kiwi, as well as avocado’s and flavored oils. Had fun and learned about the area.
