Fun! Book the train! - We had a great experience on our tour! The company made sure we were conviently picked up. Our driver was very friendly and knew so much about the island. We saw so many animals such as tortoises, deer, lizards, peacocks, and were at the reserve for the monkey feeding! BOOK THE TRAIN AT ST NICHOLAS ABBEY IN ADVANCE. For some reason we didn't book it and literally last minute were able to buy tickets only because they were holding the train for someone who was pulling in late. The train is really fun and worth it. The tour of the plantation house is interesting, especially how they make rum and other goods there today. The property is beautiful. Very fun day!

Fun day at St Nicholas Abbey - The Abbey house history was fascinating and remarkably well preserved. The railway trip around the grounds offered beautiful views. We were able to interact with the green monkeys at the wildlife reserve which was very fun. Recommend this event to visitors.

wildlife reserve and St. Nicholas Abbey. - It was a great experience. The driver picked us up at our hotel and took us to the wildlife reserve and St. Nicholas Abbey. At the Wildlife Reserve we got to see wild monkeys being feed along with tortoises and deer. We then went to the Abbey and learned about rum and there distillery. There was also a rum tasting at the end. The driver made the day by taking us the long way around the island. We ended traveling along the majority of the coast line and also added a few extra stops. I highly recommend this tour.

East side adventure - We really enjoyed this tour of the east side- the wildlife reserve has very cool trails with tortoises that walk along side you. Our guide made sure we got there right at feeding time for the monkeys which was definitely an experience because they’re roaming and eating their lunch right around you - no cage! We also learned a lot about the history and geography of the island and saw the stacks at Bathsheba which are breathtaking - definitely recommend this tour if you’re interested in seeing wildlife!

It does exactly what it says on the tin! - The Reserve was fascinating with far more to see than just monkeys - but they are the star attraction. We had about an hour at the reserve before making the short journey to St Nicholas Abbey. The house was beautifully preserved in lovely grounds and alongside one of the most pristine distilleries I have ever seen. Our guide Virginia was welcoming and provided a full and fascinating insight into the history and current operation of the estate. We didn’t take the train - which also looks pristine - which did mean that we had an extra 45 minutes or so to view the estate than those that did

Nice locations - Pickup was on time but we got stuck in a traffic jam so we got to the Wildlife Reserve much later than we were supposed to, which in turn meant we had less time there. We did get to see the feeding of the monkeys and received a delicious rum punch. The plantation house is very nice, great tour guide and rum tasting. If you take the train ride, you will be rushed through the plantation house. The experience could have been enhanced if the driver would have given us some information about the island, the things we were driving by etc. Take snacks with you; you get 1 bottle of water.
