You cannot come to the Canarian territory without savoring a rich paella, sipping sangria.
In this experience we will discover the differences between Spanish and Canarian paella.
The typicality of the local ingredients, the cultural contamination of the invading peoples and the influence of the surrounding continents have made the Canarian paella unique, with an unforgettable flavour.
Strong colors, smells and flavors distinguish this dish.
Everything will take place under the starry sky of the archipelago in one of the places least contaminated by light and noise pollution: on the roof of a villa in Playa del Cura.
All guests will initially be involved in preparing the ingredients for the paella and sangria (about 45 minutes).
Then we will proceed with the cooking, the preparation of the table and the sangria (45 minutes).
Finally, during the tasting (about 1 hour) we will be able to discover the night sky of Gran Canaria together: a famous destination for Starlight tourism.

The Canarian paella, while being a staple in this locale, sets itself apart from its Spanish counterpart. We will delve into the culture and tastes that moulded it and distinguishes it from the classic version. This recipe is a singular and exclusive legacy of the Torres family. Our journey commences with ingredient preparation before progressing to the cooking process, ending with savouring a serving of paella complimented with refreshing sangria, atop a villa in Playa del Cura, in southern Gran Canaria. The ingredients chosen are reflective of the invasions and immigration patterns over the centuries from adjoining continents, attributing to its exclusivity and distinctiveness. The globally renowned Canary Islands’ starlit sky, with its Starlight certification, acts as a stunning backdrop. Observation and discussion of certain constellations and planets add a few layers to the overall experience. Our farewell will be marked with a surprising dessert…
