Arrival and First Impressions

As soon as I touched down in Mogadishu, the vibrant energy of Somalia’s capital hit me like a wave. The city, once known as the White Pearl of the Indian Ocean, is a bustling metropolis that has risen from the ashes of its past. Nearby, the Mogadishu Lighthouse offered stunning views of the coastline, and I couldn’t resist capturing the moment with my drone.

As the sun began to set, we made our way to the bustling fish market. The sights and sounds were a sensory overload, with vendors calling out their wares and the smell of fresh seafood filling the air. It was a true feast for the senses and a highlight of the tour.
