Additional Information

People frequently express their enjoyment of this place and I’m delighted to share the charm of the riverside with those who stop by. Kayakers or people floating the river may be here daily to utilize the ramp, so seek out your own space. Limited availability could occur due to fluctuating water levels and prior tent bookings. The spaces are positioned by the Collins River, however no lighting or electrical outlets are provided. Small campfires are allowed and we can accommodate requests for larger bonfires for groups with prior notice. If you plan on fishing, please note that TWRA fishing licenses are needed. Swimming is permissible and complimentary tethered floats are available for usage. A grill is also provided for your convenience. There’s a convenience store at the top of the hill that sells a selection of snacks and camping necessities. We recommend bringing bug spray and as we don’t have a lifeguard on duty, please ensure young children are wearing life jackets when near or in the water. We kindly ask that you leave the site clean and as you found it. Individuals who act violently, become excessively intoxicated, or cause property damage will be asked to depart without a refund.
