Must! Hours of fun! Great guide and excellent means of exploring the area. - We had a fantastic segway tour with Alonzo. Fluent in English and Spanish (and I believe Italian too amongst others). All safety equipment was included as well as refreshments on the beach halfway into the tour. Segways in general are such a fun way of exploring any town/city up close and in a short space of time. We got to see more of Maspalomas in the 3 hours than we did in our entire stay on the Island! Highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Not the experience we were looking for - We have never tried a Segway before and we were interested in the experience. We arrived a half hour early. The lady at the desk was very nice and we explained this was our first time. She said we were the only couple and should not be a problem. Then the tour guide arrived. He showed us the Segways which looked like toys for children compared to the units in the photo. He was concerned with our weights. He explained that the tour is for experienced riders only. Said there are no brakes, difficult to use and did not was trying to push us on towards using e-bikes. We explained that we were there for a “Segway” experience. He demanded we be weighed before we could proceed. His scale was broken and we had to walk a block to the nearest pharmacy to be weighed. I guessed a few kilos low on our weight. However, to this he added are closing and gear which put me several kilos over the limit. Even though my wife was within the weight limit, she was in tears. I only wanted her to try to see if she liked it. She was so scared to try and did not want to work with him after his behavior. She just wanted the experience to end. My only objective was for her to try to see how she liked a Segway for this and future tours. The experience we left with was horrible. I doubt if I will be able to have my wife try again in the future. Very disappointing.
