Well worth getting muddy for - Picked up on time and travelled about an hour to the venue. You are led to believe that goggles, balaclavas, footwear etc are needed. As long as you wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, you don’t need anything else. Lockers are good for just £1. I went on a buggy which was fun (there are also quad bikes for one, need to wear a helmet). You go around a dirt track a few times, which has mud baths and water sprays, so prepared to get wet and muddy. Then we went out on a fairly well-made road (only a few cars travel along this track, but there are people on quads keeping you very safe). We ended up in a forest, where we had a good water fight before heading back. You had a good amount of time driving the buggy, around an hour, and you could switch drivers if you wanted. The only negative is that you are in a long convoy, so you can’t really bomb around (I hung back and then floored it a few times). Finishing in foam was good. There were cold showers to wash a lot of the mud off. I just put all my clothes in the laundry and all were fine. 35 Pictures were £30 as an option, but like everything you don’t need to buy anything. I would recommend this trip, which was value for money from Mares Travel Agency.
