Unforgettable experience! - This experience was the best of our whole trip. Celina is amazing and was able to teach us the best of Maya culture. We also had the opportunity to try fresh made empanadas, fish tacos and fruits. Everything was amazing and we could see how much love and dedication she puts in her work. The 7 colours lagoon is spectacular and worth the trip. We highly recommend this tour. Great vibe from the beginning until the end!

Amazing tour!!! - This was an amazing experience! Our tour guide Selina was so much fun. From the moment we met them, they offered us water, gave us snacks. Very informative. So much fun. On our way to bacalar, they stopped bought us pineapples and when we got to the water they cut it up and offered it to us. The place is gorgeous. Definitely will recommend this tour!!

Great experience! Highly recommended! - A great experience! Tonio and Mr Flores were fantastic. The other group that reserved the tour was a no show so we ended up with a private tour. (when Tonio called them, they wanted us to wait an hour and a half for them. Tonio rightfully said no as the terms were clearly spelled out. We would have been happy to wait a little bit but not long enough to miss most of the time in the lagoon.) The lagoon was absolutely beautiful! The pineapple was delicious. The tacos we got were possibly the best I've ever had. We joked and had fun and Tonio and Mr Flores made sure we were back to the ship in plenty of time. We had previously booked a tour with Chak Ek but were unable to take the tour. They worked with us so we wanted to make sure to book with them again. We were not disappointed. I highly recommend this tour!

"Mesmerizing Journey: Bacalar 7 Colors Lagoon - Embark on an extraordinary journey through Bacalar's 7 Colors Lagoon with this incredible excursion. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves with only one other guest in a spacious 11-person van, making it feel like a private tour from the start. Our knowledgeable guide, Leo, shared fascinating insights into the island's history and geography during the scenic hour-long drive from the cruise port to Bacalar. Once on the boat tour, the lagoon's mesmerizing colors captivated us, with some depths reaching an astounding 300 feet. We had the opportunity to swim for half an hour before continuing our journey to the channel of the pirates, where the colors of the lagoon became even richer. After another refreshing swim, we were taken to a local restaurant where we had preordered delicious tacos and quesadillas. The food was fresh and flavorful, providing the perfect fuel for our adventure. Returning to the port with an hour and a half to spare, we reflected on what an amazing day it had been. From the stunning scenery to the insightful commentary and delicious food, this excursion exceeded all expectations.

Amazing excursion! - This tour was AMAZING!!! Zelina and Flores were the best!!! The place is beautiful, the swimming area breathtaking and we stopped at a local restaurant to have lunch (Mr. Taco) - their food is amazing!! Best tacos I’ve had and I am a mexican food lover, so I’ve tried many. It was my daughter’s birthday and Zelina made a “ cake” out of pineapples and mangoes, it was so cute and delicious. Zelina truly spoiled us on that trip! Her level of energy is contagious and she took such good care of us. She raised the bar high for all the others. Again, totally worth it, beautiful place, amazing food and the best people.

Worth every penny! - What an amazing tour from start to finish! The booking process was incredibly easy and the private tour we had to Bacalar was worth every penny. We had a driver and a tour guide, Tino. They were very polite and Tino was knowledgeable. We were safely driven from the cruise port (outside of the exit— warning this a bit of a walk from the dock but worth the tour). We loaded into a new private van, stopped for honey pineapple (amazing by the way) and then to Bacalar. We boarded a private pontoon boat and explored the lagoon. It was beautiful! Then we stopped and swam for a few hours and enjoyed Mexican snacks and fruit. After, we stopped at a local Mexican taco spot and had delicious authentic Mexican tacos and guacamole. We were so pleased with our choice to do this private tour and highly recommend them, especially with kids. You will be happy with your choice, well worth the money! We felt safe, at peace and comfortable the entire time.

7 colors is great! - The Lagoon was like a scene from a movie. Just unbelievable. Soft white sand. Turquoise water. Dreamy. Our guide was Leo. Can’t say enough about his passion for teaching and informing his guests. He was the best!

Amazing Lagoon Tour with Chack Ek! - We loved our tour with Chac Ek in 2022 so much that we came back with my extended family of 7 for the Bacalar Lagoon tour. And this time was even better than before! Selena our tour guide was amazing. She went above and beyond our expectation. We got the entire bus and boat just for our group. If you can, definitely ask for Selena! The lake is beautiful! The included lunch was amazing. Probably the best taco I ever had in my life. Definitely will always use Chac Ek when we visit Costa Maya
