The natural salt water swimming pools are made up of volcanic rock, into which the sea flows naturally.
This space, with a surface area of 3800 m², has also a children’s swimming pool, a children’s play area and disabled access.
In addition, the beach has a car park, changing rooms and bathrooms with lockers for storing personal items, a snack bar open during the summer months, first aid, sun loungers and sunshades for hire.
- Seixal - On visiting Seixal village you’ll have enough time to explore this area including the dark sand beach.

Best way to experience Madeira - We made our Full-Day Madeira North West Coast Safari from Funchal. Our driver was John and we sat in his all-terrain-verhicle. In total we were 8 guests on board.
John showed us all points of interest and gave a lot of information. He was smart, had a good sense of humor and he is an excellent driver. If we ever would do a tour on Madeira again, we would definitely do it with John.

Madeiran adeventure - What an amazing day out during our week's holiday. 8 friends of over 40 years enjoyed an adventure with Miguel, our driver.
He entertained us, educated us, helped us enjoy the day. The off road driving was exciting , awesome views, a tasty local lunch followed by wild swimming.
We would all go again in a heartbeat. Thank you..

Fabulous Tour with Roberto Camara. - We had an amazing day with our guide Roberto Camara. He was extremely knowledgeable and genuinely enjoys spending time with othwrs and his passion shows. I highly would recommend this trip early in your stay in Madeira especially if this is your first time. Would absolutely book again.

A great way to see Madeira! - We had a great day out with our driver, Nelly, who picked us up from the hotel. First stop was the viewing platform at Cabo Girão. Then on to Seixal, Porto Moniz for lunch, followed by a great off-road section before returning to Camara de Lobos. Would recommend this experience if you fancy seeing Madeira close up and like a bit of excitement along narrow roads!

Fun exploring the west coast 4x4 style - Our guide Roberto Camara gave us a fantastic day out - he struck a nice balance between telling us about places and giving us space to enjoy the west of the island ourselves. We visited some lovely coastal towns, volcanic sea pools and peaks above the clouds. Above all, it was fun and we leaned a few things about the island history and nature too.
The open top jeep was perfect for exploring and the 4x4 experience part of the trip through the jungle at speed was truly thrilling.
Top marks for the guide who gave us all a great day out.

Amazing day to the North West of Madeira - We went with Philip on a full-day trip to the North West. Having such an experienced guide made all the difference. We saw the locals at an interesting fishing village. Went to the top of Europe's highest cape for some amazing views. Afterward, the guide drove us on narrow roads with impressive precision and skill. We went to the northern part of the island at a nice sand beach while chasing waves, had a great lunch, and socialized with the group at Porto Moniz. The high point was going off-road along forest paths before heading higher up into the mountain and returning home. Philip is friendly and keeps it both informative and fun. All in all a great experience.

The trip was nice and well planned but the driver a jerk! - first time when we missed a part of the trip because the driver did not pick up us from the place where the people from the cruise were allowed to exist from the ship. The driver accused us that we were not where we supposed to be, and all the day after that, he was a jerk, treating us very very poorly!!! I hope the company will not hire this guy again.
