Once in a Lifetime Trip - We had an amazing time with Go Luxor Tours our entire trip! This review is specifically for the tour of the West Bank of Luxor (Memnon, Valley of the Kings, and Temple of Hatshepsut) this leg of our trip was truly breathtaking. They organized it for us to be picked up after doing a separate experience (hot air balloon) on the West Bank of Luxor in order to have a more efficient start to our tour, which was very helpful. We started by meeting our guide, George who took us to the Statues of Memnon and explained the history of the location to us which was cool, but the real part of the tour was the Valley of the Kings. MAN! So much history!! We did not want to leave. Typical trip, you get to visit 3 different tombs in the area, with the option to add King Tut for a separate fee (we did) and George gave us such a detailed explanation of each tomb he recommended we go and see. They were three very different tombs with much different things to see, which we appreciated. It was a beautiful day and before each tomb, he fully explained as much as we could handle so that we could experience the tombs fully with the understanding of the history behind it. He let us know that tour guides aren’t typically allowed in the tombs since it would hold up too much traffic, which we appreciated. King Tut’s tomb was mind blowing, connecting our experience with France’s from Go Luxor Tours in Cairo, bringing our experience full circle in a way we did not expect, which was incredible. We ended our tour by visiting the temple of Hatshepsut which was also incredible by every stretch of the imagination. It was really so crazy that we had done so much in one day and each thing was more special than the last, by the end of our tour we could not have been more grateful for the opportunity to visit this special place with George helping us to see just how special it was. 10/10 would do it again and recommend these guys! They truly made our experience so special.

6 day Cairo, Aswan and Luxor tour - We’ve just returned from a customised 6 day trip with Go Luxor Tour. This is our first trip to Egypt so wanted to see as many sights as possible in this limited amount of time. Organising this trip from start to finish is a breeze with Michael Samir, who is super efficient with setting up itinerary, pricing and replies to any queries we have. I also like the fact we can choose our own accommodation instead of the usual cookie cutter hotel packages included with the land tours. Go Luxor Tours was also flexible with any changes we may have with the itinerary proposed or start/end times each day depending on our energy levels. They organised all transport (flights and car transfers) to and from each city, and airports, sites and made suggestions on restaurants when asked. The guides were fantastic (Francis in Cairo and Michael at Aswan/Luxor) and very knowledgeable, imparting information at each site and answering other queries we may have on history and Egyptian culture. We travelled with our 10 year old daughter and they made the whole trip enjoyable for all of us and ensure we were comfortable throughout. The advice on tips, shopping and security were appreciated, including an incident where the locals try to charge us extra EGP for using toilets instead of the standard amount 😬 We would happily use Go Luxor Tours again on our next trip to Egypt and have no hesitation recommending them to our friends for future trips.

Great two days with Go Luxor Tours - I had just the best two days of tours with Go Luxor Tours! My guide Beshoo was so friendly, kind and knowledgeable and really made the trip worthwhile. The sights were just amazing and the logistics worked seamlessly. I would highly recommend!

Excellent tours of the ancient sites with painless logistics - Go Luxor Tours was recommended to me on a frequent traveler group. I sent a contact email and received a prompt reply from Mike. After a couple of emails to tailor my experience to what we wanted, we accepted the proposal and booked several days worth of tours in Cairo, Luxor and a private transfer to Hurghada in addition to all the airport transfers. As the day approached Mike contacted me to confirm the details and was in contact when we landed at Cairo at close to 3AM. Our tour guide Mario and driver Paul were waiting for us and took us to our hotel. The next tow days we visited the Egyptian Museum, a bazaar, Giza pyramids and Saqqara pyramid. Mario was knowledgeable and fun to spend the days with. In Luxor, Mike picked us up and we went straight to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and an evening boat ride on the Nile. The following day we toured Karnak and Luxor Temples with Mike then were driven in a private vehicle to a few days in Hurghada. The airport transfers were perfect and less expensive than coordinating with the hotel(s). Overall, I would highly recommend them for not only the tours, but all logistics while being in Egypt. As an American that has travelled to several countries, Egypt, by far, would have been the most overwhelming to try and navigate alone.

We had an amazing trip with Go Luxor! - We had an incredible trip with our guides Mike and George!! Mike worked with us for a few months prior to our trip to organize a Nile cruise and a number of private tours from Aswan to Luxor. We really appreciated their flexibility in accommodating extra tours for us at the last minute and switching up the schedule to make sure we saw everything we were interested in. We were really glad we opted to do private tours, in some places we had the entire site to ourselves, which provided a really unique and incredible experience. Mike and George were both super knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions in detail. We also really appreciated that they helped us set up car transfers once our tour ended and we left for Cairo to meet friends. We had a once-in-lifetime trip and a great experience. We highly recommend Go Luxor!!

Our Egyptian Adventure with Go Luxor Tours - Our recent trip to Egypt, organized by Go Luxor Tours, was amazing! Mike Samir, our tour coordinator, planned an incredible itinerary just for us. He took care of everything from booking our flights to choosing hotels in convenient locations. We started our adventure in Cairo. Then we headed to Aswan followed by a 3-day cruise along the Nile River took us to Luxor, the highlight of our trip. Our guides, Francis in Cairo and George in Aswan & Luxor, made our journey even better with their knowledge and enthusiasm. At first, we were unsure about paying through Western Union, but Mike made everything easy and reliable. He quickly provided invoices and was easily reachable at all times. On the last day - one of our activities was canceled - he was prompt with the refunds - we didn't even have to follow up. Go Luxor team was the most professional and trustworthy companion for the trip.

Luxor Tour/Nile Cruise - The time and travels through upper Egypt were truly amazing. Cruising the Nile River to learn about Luxor and other remarkable locations was worth the money. Our travel guide, Michael Samir provided a great experience by sharing his knowledge and historical elements of the area. Michael’s guidance greatly added to an enjoyable and entertaining experience. I’m already looking forward to returning in the near future.
