Easy and Smooth trip - I used Go Luxor Tours for my trip in Luxor. They picked me up from the airport, they were waiting for me. We started the tour just after my pickup. The driver and the tour guide were very friendly and kind. Also whenever I would have any questions after or before the tour they answered promptly and tried their best to make my requests happen. Every day went smoothly. I used them for 3 days. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about every plane we went. Also very professional.
I was a bit nervous to travel alone to Luxor but I ended up really enjoying it because they made it very safe, easy and comfortable for me.

Go Luxor Tours is the tour company for you! - I happened upon a reddit post regarding great tour companies to use when visiting Egypt and Go Luxor Tours was mentioned highly so I decided to reach out to them. I couldn't be happier with the one week tour experience. Mike was extremely attentive and knowledgeable in designing a tour package which worked like a well oiled machine. From the moment my wife and I stepped off the plane we were in great hands with Go Luxor tours. They setup a driver to take us to the hotel, all the tickets for sites were already prepurchased by them in advance and the stress of dealing with many of the intricacies of travel were taken care of. On top of all this their knowledge of the Egyptian sites was priceless. My wife and I were fascinated to learn so much about ancient Egyptian life from our guides. They also took tons of pictures of us that we will cherish forever. I can't recommend them enough and I know you won't regret using this company.

So much history - This was the last leg of our trip and I can say, this company took great care of me and my family. There is so much to learn about Egypt, and our tour guide George kept our curiosity piqued at every stop. He was fantastic and we left the city of Luxor with such a deeper appreciation for the history of the country of Egypt. He took the time to explain so much, and on a trip where we mostly came to just see the sights, he made us all want to become Egyptologists. Visiting Luxor Temple can be overwhelming, there is so much to see. Having George with us really helped us get the experience of a lifetime. Same with Karnak Temple, it really is all so beautiful and with the added layer of an accommodating and knowledgeable tour guide, it really elevated the experience for us. They made my wife’s birthday trip extremely special. 10/10 would recommend. Go Luxor Tours is such a great company to work with and we will work with them again when we come back!

The Real Trip of a Lifetime: GoLuxor Karnak and Luxor Temples - This was the second leg of our trip after leaving Giza/Cario and this part of the trip had some of our favorite places and moments. GoLuxor gave us one of best experiences we have ever been on. From pick up to drop off, they made planning/logistics seamless and easy so we could enjoy every second without worry. We felt like we packed so much activity and sightseeing into such a short timeframe. We felt truly taken care of by the GoLuxor team and we will definitely be going back to see them in Egypt for more of their tours!

Amazing travel experience thanks to GoLuxor - We used goluxortours for a wide range of activities and tours in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Abu simbel (including airport transfers and tansits). The experience was amazing - very smoothly organised, well informed guides and polite and safe drivers. They were constantly in touch updating everything in a timely manner. The entire trip for our family of 5 wouldn't have been this enjoyable and hassle free if it wasn't for Mike and his team. Big kudos

A great bicycle tour in Luxor with rich discussions on Egypt - Bicycle Tour in Luxor : we wanted to visit the temples of Karnak and Luxor by bicycle as we always love to use bikes wherever we travel. Go
Luxor Tours was referenced in the Lonely Planet Guide (French version) for bicycle visits. We were staying on the West Bank so Mike picked us up early there and we got the bikes together on the West Bank, then crossed the Nile on the public ferry with the bikes (which was already an experience).
We spent the whole morning together with Mike and his company was great : not only for the quality of the historic guiding in the temples but also for the richness of the exchanges with Mike talking about Egypt: history, politics, religion, sociology, demography, covid, litterature ... We could have very open and thorough discussions on all these subjects and for us, discovering a country with our European glasses, it was very fruitful to have an Egyptian point of view.
On top of all this, Mike spoke a perfect English, was super professional for the organisation of the trip and always very reactive on Whatsapp.

Great time in Luxor - I had a really nice time on a tour with Mike in Luxor this month (December 2024).
I was on a compressed timeline and so I had only one full day in Luxor. Still, Mike was able to arrange an excellent itinerary on both the East and West Banks, so I got to see everything I wanted to, including Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s Mortuary Temple, the Colossi, and Karnak and Luxor Temples, with lunch.
Mike moved at my pace, was very knowledgeable, and able to answer all my questions with ease. The driver he arranged was excellent, drove very safely (even by international standards), and was always there waiting on time. The car was brand new, comfortable and air conditioned.
Mike’s got a good knowledge of the crowds and how the other tour companies operate, so I never felt like we were fighting foot traffic in the major sights and I was even able to see a couple of the popular tombs at the Valley of the Kings when they were relatively uncrowded, even though my trip fell squarely in the middle of the busy season.
I can definitely recommend Mike and Go Luxor tours! (And, if your schedule allows, consider leaving “early” (7.30) like I did - I think that might’ve helped, and at a minimum you might be able to beat the worst of the heat!)

Great experience with Go Luxor ! - We had a full 11 days of tour in Egypt with Go Luxor Tours (Cairo, Pyramids, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Nile cruise, Luxor) and it was great. Perfectly organised, very gentle and professional guides. Excellent explanations and very nice spirit. Go Luxor definitely made our discovery of Ancient Egypt amazing.

What a Trip! - Mike is just awesome at doing his tours!! Rest assure he will take care of everything for you and he is just a text away. I was a bit hesitant when I went to the web site and he asked to text over WhatsApp … it just made it easier to communicate. It was myself and a friend (2 ladies) and felt completely safe and cared for!!
