Family from NJ - Antonella was great. She was high energy and very informative. Not just about Lucca but also recommendation’s for restaurants, menu options and recipes. Definitely recommend her.

Fantastic historical tour around Lucca including several delicious food stops! - We always enjoy taking a bike tour when we travel but this was one of our favourites. We were travelling with our teenage daughter and our guide Antonella was fantastic. She taught us so much about Lucca and we got to see so many parts that we wouldn’t have even known to explore. She answered all our questions and didn’t rush us at all. The food stops were delicious too, we particularly enjoying trying the cheese with honey and the gelato at the end. We would highly recommend this tour.

Great start to our visit in Lucca - This was a perfect start to our stay in Lucca, to understand the history, meet someone who is from the Tuscany area, eat good food and have a general view of the food scene in Lucca. It was absolutely perfect. We went on an easy biking route to get familiar with the town. My kids were in a teen bad mood and Luka from Tuscany went with the flow which I really appreciated. Such an amazing Italian host!

Highly recommended! - Nice guide with a great knowledge of the city. Quiet bike tour with nice stops with nice anecdotes about the city. We recommend it to anyone who wants to know a bit more about the city.

Relaxing ride with great guide - Our Bike and Bites tour of Lucca was really great. Our guide Luca (no kidding!) was an endless source of information on the city, it’s history and it’s legends. Relaxing, easy ride on comfy bikes. We travel widely and try bike tours as often as we can. This was among our best.

Outstanding and Unique Way to Experience Lucca! - This tour is a must-do when visiting Lucca! The bike ride provides a balance of history, views of the city, varied stops, and delicious food. Plan to park just outside the bicycle tour stop, easily accessible outside of the city's walls. Our tour guide, Antonella, was amazing. She shared history all along the route, pausing often for us to stop, look around, and ask questions. We explored below one of the ramparts, giving us inside access to the wall in a unique way. We had time for a little shopping before enjoying a filling appetizer stop and glass of wine. The tour went both on the wall and into the city without taking us into overly crowded areas. We had options about which areas to explore and plenty of stops for pictures. Our final stop was for gelato, a delicious way to end a memorable experience! For this ride, we did not have electronic bikes. There are a couple of hills throughout the tour as you ride up to the wall, so be prepared for doing some pedaling up inclines. Plan to bring your own bottled water. Each bike has a basket for your belongings and a map of the city for reference. Our guide, Antonella, went above and beyond to share her love of Lucca. She gave us recommendations for dining and suggestions on where we might park for free for future trips to the city. This tour offers a relaxing way to see the city with a local guide; definitely add it to your list if you are traveling in the area!

Great intro to Lucca. - This tour was a great blend of history, mild exercise and good food. Our guide, Chlara(sp?) was wonderful and we learned a lot about how the walled city was built and rebuilt over the centuries, along with many other things. It’s quite hot in Italy right now, but being on a bike was refreshing because it was a bit breezy and you could get from place to place quickly. Our family of five really enjoyed this tour. They do this in a small group setting so you will not be a train of 30 people following a guide and missing things.

Lovely tour - Chiara was a lovely guide. We learned so much about the city, enjoyed the bike ride, and ate a nice lunch followed by delicious gelato. It was better than expected!

Super nice bike tour through the city of Lucca with great views and an awesome guide - Luca is an awesome guide. He knows a lot about the city of Lucca and Tuskany in general and took good care of us. He told the stories in an interesting manner and is kind as well as funny. The food was good and the bike tour offered a lot of fantastic views. 10/10 recommend :-)

Nice tour by bike with tasty local products. - You get a nice tour of Lucca and cycle over the city wall. An electric bike is not necessary, because this is also easy to do on a regular bike. The wine with the tasting of Italian products in the amphitheatre was delicious and so was the ice cream at the end of the tour. The guide gives a lot of information and also takes you to surprising places. The disadvantage is that you cycle little; only over a small part of the city wall.
